@@aidanjoyce3248 He's just the same, he's 12 years old, I love the horse he won me a load of money in the Champion Hurdle, people are calling him for the Cheltenham Gold Cup but reality says no, I hope he is fit for Cheltenham but he will struggle to win a festival race, great to see him win here tho😀 (think the commentator is a bit screechy at the end of his races after a long career)
Just unbelievable! My favourite horse to grace a racecourse.. I wouldn’t mind now if they retired him but then he’s clear favourite for the 2m4f Novice at Cheltenham.. He could ascend to even greater heights, but we all know how cruel this game can be, so I pray to God he stays well, stays safe, and they do the right thing with him; he deserves a beautiful long life after racing :)
Wasn't he just brilliant. He has become as popular as Istabraq and Danoli. I'm still in awe of him.paul was great on him and the reception afterwards was everything he deserved. Horse of a lifetime

They said they where half expecting him to fall or get injured, because he was attempting something perilous for a horse who used to smash through his hurdles. So after all the calls to retire him before starting as a novice chaser, and his connections assertion that Sunday was his “Gold Cup”, it’s extremely unlikely he’ll run in anything but a Novice Chase, if anything at all, at Cheltenham.

He would pack out cheltenham and everyone watching would be willing him on not to win but to get home in one piece.winning would be an salsa lute bonus. I hope they pick the race for him not for a tilt at the gold Cup but one he won't have too hard a race. I am sure Willie will do right for Faugheen.
was too good for chasing in the first years.. then RR didn't want to risk after coming back from 2 year injury.. then after last season they thought might as well give it shout.
going to Cheltenham for anything other than the Gold Cup would be a shame. He was made for the race, he might be too old for it but getting beat in the RSA vs getting beat in a GC is a huge difference, winning them also, just no point taking on the novices again.
AI Cylosh agree with you. He's always looked a gold cup horse . As did Annie power. He's certainly more class than delta work ,santini alboum photo kemboy and the rest. His age is a negative. As long as they keep him safe.

I will never forget this one and a Willie Mullins clean sweep to boot including future King George VI Chase winner, Tornado Flyer.
