The big Q is, how does one raise this much capital? Sorry for the tacky Q but hear me out please Chloe… I’m a freelance copywriter, I do ok, £100k a year. But minus mortgage and other costs I could put away £5k a month. Would take me 2 years to have the capital for that pick up. I could deposit on a BTL house with that! Thing is, no other poketubers really talk about the biz side of raising capital for big pick up purchases. I feel like you could break some interesting ground here in a vid. Is it buying and selling slabs? Did you go big on vintage 10 years ago and sell a lot for 5x in 2020-21? Maybe it started with a biz loan before buying and flipping vintage over last few years? It’s fascinating stuff from a business perspective. Understand if you just don’t discuss finance and your biz model. Hope you reply to this. Great work both of you!
Lots of hard work and reinvestment! My company never paid any dividends first 18 months, pays myself minimum wage, it all gets reinvested back into new stock new products and new opportunities! My husbands wage covered the house bills etc so I was lucky in having some freedom to leave the money in my business and keep it rolling! It still owes some initial start up loan repayments from our own savings but we’ve also left all that in there to keep growing the purchases as it’s our own money and we’re not obligated to make repayments etc. We’ve been working 12-18 hour days 7 days a week for nearly 2 years, it certainly hasn’t been easy, or at least as easy as it may look on camera! But the hard work makes these moments all the more special! Hope that answers enough of your question! Don’t talk about it too much as it doesn’t interest too many people in depth haha, not sure the TH-cam algorithm would take too kindly to a video explaining it all either!

They're not bent they just slightly warp over time. Most holo cards do it, and PSA dont mark down for it unless there is creasing or actual bending etc :)

Those sealed vintage boxes look amazing, I'd never open them. The singles look a bit banana shaped, not sure if that hurts potential grading, nevertheless awesome. I got a couple dollars, a piece of bubble gum, and some lint in my pocket let me know if you need to offload any of that collection 😅
Not sure if that first store was super expensive or if those prices were typical for Denmark, but that UPC was £200 and the VSTAR Collections were £70 😱
Also you picked up my favorite neo box... Which is neo Genesis! My second favorite card in the world is that Lugia! First favorite is the shining Mewtwo!

Just looked up Danish salaries... they earn on average 65% more so the prices were actually very very even
