Hey Darrel, thanks for the tutorial, it's great! The image repeating option used to be very useful back in the days when you could use, let's say, a 1px slice from a gradient and repeat it on X in order to get a full gradient. This way you could decrease the loading time, which was always a big deal.
Brilliant tutorial. Exactly what I needed................. I confess I left at 35 mins with the basics to get me started for my requirements, as from then on in the direction changed a little. Thanks for this.
I had a problem with the slider loading so slow! I got frustrated and removed the slider completely. By going to edit page, and scrolling down there is a section to disable the slider. I then went back and inserted a full width image and made the section 'stretch'. This is a good work-a-round if you are just thinking about inserting a simple image on your page and don't want to deal with the hassle of the slider taking so long to load!

Thanks Darrel for doing this tutorial. Slider Revolution is so powerful but has a steep learning curve. I have a full license from code canyon. But I'm afraid to tackle it cause of its complexity. Wish they would have more tutorials like this for their plugin. Its certainly a awesome tool to add to any web designing wordpress arsenal. But mastering it is not as simple.

everything is fine and shinny and beautiful but i can not work if there is a HUGE (and i mean HUGE) option bar at the right side of the screen. The options bar consumes a HUGE amount of space and it is impossible to see the whole thing while you are working on it. I have to zoom out the browser to be able to see everything, and zoom in if I have to change the page.
@@Every-thing-it that's not a solution, you cannot change your computer just because of that. What about an enterprise? do they have to change their monitors and devices? that not a solution buddy. This is the only page that gives me problems. The logical move is enable and disable the panel.
Great great video. I have a nice little Slider but if my sides load you have to move a bit the mouse or press anything on keyboard that slider begin his work. So you have to do a little action that slider begins. It makes me so cracy i can´t find in settings where the problem is. It should start from alone...
Really enjoyed the video - very useful and informative. With your help I created my first working slider -exciting stuff. Could you cover adding another slider with navigation. I thought it would be easy.... Just add another slide but it doesn't move to the next slide just stops at the end of the first one. Hope that makes sense. Thank you.
Very thorough and well explained. Thanks a bunch. One thing... I noticed the right side bar is not a flyout so it is really hard to access the timeline to shorten the event. You showed How to do it but Slider Revolution should make it more accessible.

Awesome tutorial. Addons .. wish you had covered Typewriter Effect, of all of them (except for Backups) I find Typewriter Effect most useful, also most difficult to get right.

Hey! Yes, you can use multiple templates on your site by applying different templates to pages. For a single slide in Revolution Slider, create one slide and set the slider height to fill the viewport. Feel free to drop your questions in the comments below!

How do you change the position of the image accordingly to tablet and mobile? The most important part of the pictures, that we want to showcase, can't be seen on mobile because it's not positioned in the center! Please help. 🤞
Ok I have everything set the way I want it in desktop mode but when I go into mobile mode, the background/picture is off center. How can I adjust the adjust the background so the picture realigns within the blue box/mobile view? I can change the dimensions of the box but I can't seem to move it to capture the background, or move the background to fit within the box

sounds like you need a more current monitor...with better resolution

Enrique Fernández try pressing ctrl and minis it zooms out a bit so I can see the whole 1200px screen on my desktop

Thé repeat image is used for when you use a tiny image as a pattern that can repeat without anyone seeing the cut in between

When I go to layer > layer library and select an option, the same error appears for all of the choices: "Object could not be loaded." Any idea why?
I've got exactly the same problem with both images and videos.
When you add headline text. Where do you identify H1, H2, etc.?
