Good rivalry between AGGS and McAuley. I love this style of taualuga, the slow-motion style I call it. I find that this style keeps one focused on the taupou throughout the whole dance with its elegant and noble choreography - mesmerising! The taualuga captures and depicts the pampered, privileged position and lifestyle of the taupou in olden times who was held in such high regard by the village. So cute. Not Samoan, just a keen observer of Samoan culture and dance. Well done! Long live Polyfest!
Every time I watch this performance one word comes to mind SPEECHLESS omg it was amazing every bit of it I love the fact that AGGS Samoan group is taught by their own students which amazes me every time.
