Wish the US auto makers would make a simple, rugged, and useful pickup much more reasonably priced with simple roll down windows. We really hate all of the " stuff " they put on the vehicles these days. They forgot, " Think BIG, Keep it SIMPLE ".
And YOU pay for all the gadgets you'll probably never use. Because if you do, you must pay more to use the gadgets you don't need to start with.
@@nomadmarauder-dw9re " AGREE " - don't need all of the gadgets. That's why I no longer have a car. No payments for over built junk, no insurance, and no inflated upkeep and maintenance costs. There are other ways of travel that only cost me a few dollars a month. Usually less than $30.00 a month.
No profit in that, and all the stupid sheep these days keep walking into dealerships and getting sheered for $70k. Why not, they can finance it out for 15 years.
Had 2 and they were both great pickups.
Now there selling love out of commercial vehicles….
The fire department in my hometown back in the late 70s used a LUV with a utility box as their rescue squad. It was loaded to the max, so it was slow, often slowing down to a crawl going uphill. They finally upgraded to a GMC 1 ton 4x4 dually with a utility box for the job. They said that they had to replace the engine in it at least 2 times. It was loaded up as well.
My parents used to have this little Mazda truck that we would go to the nursery to pick up loads of dirt with. On the way home, the top half of the truck would spin like 60° to the right, and then back the same amount to the left, and it would just randomly point wherever it wanted while we were driving in a straight line.
Thank you very much
7 1/2 foot box. That is more hauling space than most modern pickups have at $60,000.
