I think the reason l love the miracle suits is cause I’m 5’6" long legs and short torso. It’s hard for me to find clothes that look good on me. They all looked good on you, love the Talbot one.❤
Lands' End is where I buy my swimwear - they have lots of different options for tankinis, with different styles of bottoms and tops many with underwire (which is my preference too).. My problem is the reverse of yours - I'm very short waisted, so being able to buy different sizes in tops and bottoms is great. Like your choices!

I have been a Talbots customer for years and I, like you buy their flash sales, which is usually 40% off....The quality to me has cheapened on some items over the years but is ok. The problem I have with Talbots is pilling sweaters...their clothes are classic and you look very nice wearing their swimwear ,,,also the black one with the skirt...enjoy your vacation Cathy!!!

I’ve done the road to Hona but make sure you take Dramamine if your prone to car sickness. There are 600 turns that you will be making but it was the highlight of my trip. I’d do it again for sure. The scenery is breathtaking and the waterfalls are spectacular. I like the blue one you had on and perfect for a Maui excursion.
I own that Amazon suit in a different color and I really like it. Both the hot pink and blue paisley look good on you. That strap falling off your shoulder so many times made me laugh. That drives me crazy! 😆😆 I prefer beach bags that zip, and I really like the floral one. 🌺🌺
I too love a tankini because I have a long torso. I like to buy the top a size smaller than I think I need because when the swimsuit is wet it tends to stretch out and pull down. I used to wear high cut swimsuits but, since my hip surgery, I don’t like to get sunburn on the scar so I do like one with a skirt but the swimshorts would be even better. OK! A Canadian friend told me a trick. Get a bra that you like and works in your swim suit. Support is there. Sometimes there is some sewing to make sure it doesn’t hide or choose a bra color to match the suit. It works! I am built like you.
Cathy, what great suits. Definitely keep Talbots suits and cover ups, but order a 22. The only other unit I liked was the black Miracle skirt , but again look for underwires, as that is important to you.

I had never bought bathing suit that I like. Bought one from home shopping and I finally got one that I like it has the boyfriend shorts. I wish I had known how well they fit apple shapes. The top has ruffles it covers what i don't want to show. They have this brand from time to time. Very reasonably priced.

Thanks for your honest review of these suits because I think you look cute in all of them! I never would have known that some of the suits were too short in the torso or that the first tankini top in pink (that looked fabulous btw) was loose in the cups. I thought you just look great in them. But these are bathing suits and you have to feel good and confident in them too. Have you tried Lands' End suits? I love their swimwear. I swear they've got everything like short torso, long torso, underwire, shelf, soft cup bras, even D, DD, and DDD cups. And there is almost always a sale going on. I'm loving the tropical music at the end. I feel like going on vacation now, lol.

Last one is really nice. You could almost do it in a smaller size. I love and live in my bathing skirts now. Also that tankini is very good, and is hard to get good one like that , which comes up very nicely under the arms.

Thank you for the information on swimsuits. By far, I prefer the tankinis. I am wondering if you could alter the straps by pulling them up a half inch or so and then sewing them at that point. Otherwise I think you need a smaller size. Have a wonderful time on your Vacay.
I too agree with taking them to a seamstress. They can work wonders with things that just don't fit quite right. The last one you had on they can shorten the straps and take it in a little on the top. Have fun.

I like your last coverup best. Although I donhave the first coverup you shared but it’s a bit longer! The reason I like the blue one, besides that it looks great on you, is that it’s a button up. When I had to pull my coverup off over my shoulders, I just felt very uncomfortable. It stuck to my wet suit and my movements weren’t fluid, smooth.

I had never bought bathing suit that I like. Bought one from home shopping and I finally got one that I like it has the boyfriend shorts. I wish I had known how well they fit apple shapes. The top has ruffles it covers what i don't want to show. They have this brand from time to time. Very reasonably priced.

Thanks for your honest review of these suits because I think you look cute in all of them! I never would have known that some of the suits were too short in the torso or that the first tankini top in pink (that looked fabulous btw) was loose in the cups. I thought you just look great in them. But these are bathing suits and you have to feel good and confident in them too. Have you tried Lands' End suits? I love their swimwear. I swear they've got everything like short torso, long torso, underwire, shelf, soft cup bras, even D, DD, and DDD cups. And there is almost always a sale going on. I'm loving the tropical music at the end. I feel like going on vacation now, lol.

Can you get the black miracle suit in long torso and in blue? I think that would be perfect for you.
Unfortunately that wasn’t an option.
Last one is really nice. You could almost do it in a smaller size. I love and live in my bathing skirts now. Also that tankini is very good, and is hard to get good one like that , which comes up very nicely under the arms.
I wish my legs looked as good as yours do! Have you ever tried Torrid swimsuits?

Hi Cathy, thank you for doing a swimsuit edition! I love the Amazon blue print, and the Talbots blue print on you. Do you think the Talbots top could be taken in a bit? Or maybe your seamstress can shorten the straps? I love, love love the Talbots skirt! Like a few others, I only buy Lands End swim separates, as there are so many choices!

Thank you for the information on swimsuits. By far, I prefer the tankinis. I am wondering if you could alter the straps by pulling them up a half inch or so and then sewing them at that point. Otherwise I think you need a smaller size. Have a wonderful time on your Vacay.

I too agree with taking them to a seamstress. They can work wonders with things that just don't fit quite right. The last one you had on they can shorten the straps and take it in a little on the top. Have fun.

PS-I’ve decided never to wear any swim bottom that is like underwear again. I don’t want to mess with shaving/waxing and I want the fuller coverage on my bits so I can play with my kids in the sand in comfort 😊

I like your last coverup best. Although I donhave the first coverup you shared but it’s a bit longer! The reason I like the blue one, besides that it looks great on you, is that it’s a button up. When I had to pull my coverup off over my shoulders, I just felt very uncomfortable. It stuck to my wet suit and my movements weren’t fluid, smooth.
