Before we got rid of our Salem FSX toy hauler last year, this is exactly the idea that was in my mind to extend the living space for the years that we owned the trailer. We had the smallest toy hauler, a 181RTX. I had no idea who would be able/willing to build one of these tent rooms for us. Here's the real "funny" thing, we live in St. Augustine, Florida. Too late now.....lol.
For the right price anybody will do anything almost. I’m sure you can find somebody that works with tarp or canopy work will make it for a price. I would love to have one of those, maybe with a door on the back also. Job by the way I love it.❤
Bill, you and I are in shape. Round is a shape! Lol some day I'm going to be able to show you what I did to combat the lack of ease on the rear roller insulation issue. I have made double opening doors with windows from a school conversion. Made a huge hvac difference
Hi Bill and Debby, I noticed your shutters around your window. I really like that. I was wanting to do that to one of my windows. Did you paint them or something else. I have looked back on your post. Looks like you did that about a year ago but can't find how you did them. My guess is paint, and you typed it off. Did you show how, if so where. Thank you, Chris L.,
Jerry very cool. Would your friend consider helping me to get started making them? I live in Texas so it would not be competition against her business. You could IM me Joanne Smith. This is such a great idea.
That is a super room addition. Jerry by golly a person could have a business just doing camper stuff.
Thank you for watching
Thats very awesome. Ive been designing on paper a 7.5 x 14 trailer exactly the same idea. Thank you
Really like the add-on room
Yes it's great
That’s exactly what we are looking for our cargo/camper.
What a great idea. Isn’t it wonderful to have friends with skill sets. Thanks for sharing,

What a great idea Bill! Probably not great in cold weather though? Would love to hear how cold it gets in there at night. Thanks for sharing!
Jerry it looks great! And it looks like the screen room buttons up real tight. It was good meeting you in Greensville at the last rendezvous.
Thanks so much. It was great meeting you too!
Canopy over the ramp was awesome. I've wondered if I could rig up a tent to do something similar but it wouldn't look as good.

Great extra space, very nice room.
Thanks!
Yeah, y’all fellas just enjoy the moment. Doghouse is next and ya know it, lol 😂 😂😂
Yup.
I like the extra room, I thought of something like that also, but like the Apache pop up, hardside inserts. Where to store the panels when traveling.
That’s a great idea.
Awesome setup!
Yes it's amazing
Something tells me y'all ain't gonna be out of the doghouse yet. 🤔 Ya didn't mention the snazzy blinds. 🙂
Oh believe me. Our wives are critiquing the video as we speak. 🤨
@billanddeb just accept the fact that you can't win. 🤣
I wish I had a sewing machine that could sew the canvas. Someone could make a living by doing this for people.
@rebekahwells3737 yes they could.
That's really cool. Great idea
It's an awesome project!
Might try a rubber seal made for the bottom of a garage door
It’s looking great.
Great idea. Would they make for other people? Contact info?
They don't make them anymore. It's unfortunate.

Nice😊
great video biill
Now you will be in trouble for saying you got in trouble. 🤣😂🤣

Trippy
👍👍👍
Is that trailer just for summer use or can the addition tent be insulated for winter?
It would require getting a little creative, that's for sure.
So does the frame stay in place and fold up when the ramp is closed. Or do you take the frame apart.
He takes the frame down, folds it up, and carries it in the trailer up against the wall.
Price range?
They're not making them anymore. Sorry.
If your wives are mad them we probably go fishing n let them cool off. 😆🤣😂
Absolutely Love it, in fact I have done something very similar & you'll have the opportunity to see it next month @Ichetucknee - CANT WAIT!!!
Looking forward to it.
@@youcanthide004 Hopefully Bill will do a video for us to see. We can’t make the next rendezvous.
