I wonder if tapering the leading end of your former would have made insertion a lot easier. If you made a right-angle triangle you could make a very useful light workshop power outlet conduit which are silly money. Hmm thinks - a rectangular one with screwed on faceplates could make a great wall-mounted one in an electronics workshop all round the walls. 😊 On my projects list.
Hello, Following suggestions. #1 Cut the wood for the triangle a bit longer. #2 Cut two triangles (one should be a few millimeters less than the diameter that you need) the other can be much wider. #3 Do not use glue as it serves no purpose for what you need to do. #4 Tape the triangle together so that you can screw it together using only the two triangles you cut for the ends (left and right) #5 remove the tape. #6 Stand the triangle up vertically and screw it to the table with the triangle that you made much wider so that you can eaisly unscrew it later. #7 Warm up the PVC pipe carefully "only from one side" (maximum around one third of the pipe length). #8 Guide it on to the triangle with help of a ruler (metal line). #9 When you have guided the begining of the pipe on to the triangle, place a piece of wood on top (the same diameter of the pipe or a bit wider). #10 Now warm up the pipe slowly and hammer it on to the triangle from the top slowly, piece by piece. #11 When it has cooled down unscrew the triangle from the table. #12 Remove the screws from both triangles on the end. #13 With the triangle end pieces removed you should be able to remove the longer pieces from inside much eaiser now...no need to hammer so much! PS- What you referred to as a "disc" at 0:29 is a saw blade 😉(just a friendly information for the future.) I hope you are not offended. You had a good idea, but I found you have to work too hard to accomplish the project. Have a nice day!

When heated, it is not good to put such things. You may cause toxic gases to come out. I don't recommend it. In the end, everything happens with a little more perseverance. Thanks for the comment.

a dry lubricant on the form may help a bit, powdered graphite or even baby powder. :)
