@재원 She was racist and transphobic though, and never apologized for it. And there were no reasons for that. Hyuni and Toni were both kind to her. I like her in some aspects such as her determination, but I didn't like how she would step over and hurt everyone except Saeroyi. She was rude to Toni's grandma too when she thought his grandma was poor...When she found out she was rich, she was nice all of a sudden...

They don't have normal human conscience and empathy and can't differentiate between right and wrong. Sociopaths however can develop these characteristics of normal human like yiseo does in the series with the help of saeroyi

I think I have seen almost 100 k-drama's, but out of all of them, I think Yi Seo is the best female lead. She such a strong character. She is smart, knows what she wants, makes sure she gets what she wants, doesn't need anyone to stick up for her and she says what she thinks. Soooo refreshing

Finally a kdrama with a female role that isn’t the typical gentle, educated and perfect woman. She ain’t scared to fight even elder people if it’s right to, finally someone with a strong personality. I root for her

@@lobasleftcheek5486 Yes it was. A lot of fans are quite disappointed in the pairing of Yiseo and Saeroyi because they felt that SooAh's past with Saeroyi was a good build up to a solid and healthy relatioship with him. Idk. I love the actress just not her character...ofc until the end.

The writer and director of Itaewon Class picked the best actress for the role of Jo Yi Seo, I mean it felt like Kim Da-mi and Yi Seo are the same person, it felt like she didn't even act at all, plus her crazy love towards Saeroyi is soooo satisfying
But you know what I watched all the BTS of this drama and I was surprised of Kim Dami! She’s of course completely opposite of Yi Seo, her laughter is contagious and she is so adorable! I wanted to know if she can do more diverse role! This girl has a bright future in kdrama 👍

as much as i love jo yiseo and how she was portrayed, we shouldn't glorify the fact that she's very likely a sociopath, and at the very least, has sociopathic tendencies that hurt many people around her. i agree that she's badass, and honestly a good role model for female empowerment, but there isn't need to put down girls that are on the quieter, more introverted side either. just a thought, no hate intended < 3

Itaewon Class was beautifully done. I just loved how it ended. The story, the characters, the diversity, the revenge, the acceptance, the forgiveness, the success and the love. I’m so glad Saeroyi succeeded, it was inspiring. I’m also glad he chose Yi-seo over Soo ah. Yi-seo deserved Saeroyi’s love more. This is my favourite kdrama and it really resonates with me. I never knew I could love a show so much where it has me thinking about it a lot. I hope I’m able to find unconditional love one day. I really learned a lot from Saeroyi. Being honest with yourself is very important. This show is going to take me a while to get over it.
If you haven't watched her movie 'The witch' it would be such a waste of this quarantine.

Soo-ah is pretty but she's really annoying, she want saeroyi always like her and feels so confident but she don't do anything about it, she only think about herself, instead Yiseo always on saeroyi's side and been through ups and down with him. Kpop for lifeu you can't say that. Soo-ah and Yi-seo are both strong independent women in different way. Soo-ah because of her experience, she has to make a choice to reach her dreams. What's wrong with loving yourself more? Because of what she has been through, she hates it when people ask for help because at the first place she made it through by herself. Abandoned but came through. I actually like Soo-ah's character. The "love yourself because nobody will do it for you but you" kind of character. Yi-seo is another version of a strong independent woman. Yi-seo's character is this generation's character. The Do whatever they want without even realizing they are hurting people along the way. She is the kind to do all sort of dirty works like Mr. Jang just to get where she wants to go. The CEO of Jang Ga Co. And Yi-Seo are both the same actually. They are both smart, arrogant, overly competitive and goal oriented. So you can either like her or hate her. Nonetheless, Yi Seo and Soo-ah are both strong, competent and independent.
