    At the 2:30 mark, I wish there was a way to have all those drop values available to view simultaneously as it very much helps those new to using MOA and mil values, but being able to chose an option and print what is needed definitely gets the job done. Very good and informative video.

    from what I can tell it is a good service that you provide people, that not many others would.

    Excellent tip Aaron! Thank you for providing access to the calculator.

    What is spectacular about this program is elevation can be in mils and windage in MOA thus a mix of mil scale reticle and MOA scope adjustment can be used for best range estimation off reticle and best address of wind appraisal from windage adjustment.

    BC is so critical for accurate info as well as velocity. However, unless you are shooting, shooting, shooting, the data means nothing. You make a true DOPE card by shooting.....all weather, all temps. Not just those sunny, calm days....

    Very Nice but how much does temperature drop going to affect the dope on the card when you are at 8,000 feet in late nov.?

    What if you use a angle compensating range finder? Should you always use the 0 angle data?

    Noticed that the cards have angles in degress, for shooting to uphill, or, downhill targets. I have an angle indicator in cosign, not degrees. Can this program show cosigns of angle, or, just degrees of angle?

      at the first page you could choose angle in degrees or cosine.

    g7 ballistic program no longer offered. I had to sign up to find that out.

    Aaron, it has incline under scope height.. does that mean like a 20 moa rail? Or do you not include that rail angle in this

    • @charlesludwig9173
      @charlesludwig9173 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Incline means shooting up hill or down hill. In either case the line of sight distance to target is greater than the flat ground distance to target and since it’s the flat ground distance to target which feels effects of gravity the sight must be adjusted to flat ground distance or the bullet will shoot over the target.

    Standard conditions is actually sea level at 59F, not 5000.

    wind was 12 O'clock at 0 velocity. Was the windage in response to Coriolis Effect?

    • @RangerCaptain11A
      @RangerCaptain11A 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      it sounded like it was for a 10mph wind. he said that at the small single range card.

    Will this work with Burris scope?

    • @7071t6
      @7071t6 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      it works with any scope, mil or inch, which most scopes are 1/4 turn or .025mm for each turn, but again its more for long range, so you still have to put in the correct info, like Projectile coefficient, Hight above sea level, wind speeds, muzzle velocity, air temperature, and what caliber and most important what weight of bullet or grian like say a 308 with a hornet 215 grain bullet or projectile and then you have customise it as well poder used, rifle barrel twist ratio etc etc, it can be hard, but if you have the facts based on your rifle and where you going to shoot and the areas factors like wind distance etc, you should be able to adjust the scope and ammo tyo suit based on the rage your going to be shooting at ?

  • @Hudson4426

    So how then do you get a true muzzle velocity?

      usually it says on the box or you can use Federal Premium online and type in your information and stuff and it will give you exact everything.
