After hearing this song today, on my 93rd month of healing from a 19 year heroin addiction, I am reminded that through the blood of the Lamb and by the power of our testimony, the saints of Christ Jesus, we overcome that ancient serpent who traduces us night and day. I was so blessed to play bass at Men's Encounter '22.. We played this song after 3 days of worship, it was back at church that I witnessed 35 men give their lives to Jesus Christ. They were baptized in front of their families and seeing all this while playing on stage, getting hit with water and seeing miraculous power breaking chains in Jesus' Name.. Well, it was as close to heaven as I'll ever get, so I want to thank you Dear Sister Charity for writing this precious song of highest praise. Thank You Sweet Sweet Jesus!

This song has helped me through so much. I love that worship calls us to “lift our eyes”…but I also love that worship calls us to “lower” them as well. A chance to look down at the things we’ve been standing on…things we’ve put the full weight of our trust in. It’s a reminder for me that if something in my life is shaking…there is a divine invitation to adjust my footing.
