Yes, absolutely, couldn't agree more. Also maybe extend it to 20/30mins of highlights, I mean it is 6'hours plus worth of cricket, smashed into 14'mins, we're missing a lot of the action unfortunately.

He has a knack of scoring hundreds when the going is tough, it seems to spur him on. Hope the rain and dark clouds stay away, this summers tests have all be super interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Ollie Pope will only get better as a cricketer. I didn't understand the criticism he was getting before this match. A talent like him has to be valued and he will surely be fruitful more and more.
He's had 50 tests and averages around 34. That's a longer career than some players have had with better averages. That's probably why the criticism. He's inconsistent at best

He's the substitute or backup opener right now cuz Crawley is out with a finger injury. So if he wants more test opportunities and wants to be fitted into the team even when stokes and crawley are back, the only way is to captalize on these few opportunities and try to consistently get at least 80 plus runs and a century here and there.

Great team player and he's almost impossible to drop. The other opening position still needs to be cemented though.
About time he got some runs. but yet another case of jobs for the boys, as was the case with Jason Roy, no matter how out of form he was he hardly ever got dropped, unlike the likes of James Vince. The fact that both Pope and Roy play for Surrey is the deciding factor.
