Merida and the movie have become a popular character spot/mainstay in Magic Kingdom. Merida has her own meet-and-greet station, and she has a float (its giant bagpipes) in the parade.
Personally, I'm glad she didn't have a song. I feel like in the first Disney movies, they made the songs for the sake of it, but now they are determined to address it to every Disney princess movie they make ( don't get me wrong, the songs they produce aren't bad)

Aang Darkway Aaand a big thing which people like about Frozen is the singability of the songs and how catchy they are. I myself was singing the songs weeks after I had watched the movie. Though it's really disappointing to see this movie be so unpopular due to its lack of romance and darker themes.

7 years later and still my favorite movie ever. My mother also left Earth last year, so rewatching this just a while ago really hit me. You never really know what you have until you’ve lost it. 2 years ago, I’ve been battling with my own demons. I turned a blind eye to my mother’s own sufferings because of that. When she left, I felt numb. Didn’t feel any grief or anything. But after many months, I realized what I did and what I lost. The battle with my own demons haven’t finished yet (don’t think it will for a longggg time). But yeah. I’ll do my best for her. I’ll have to be strong for her and fulfill both of our dreams. I might encounter many obstacles along the way and have my own lapses, but I’ll continue living. I’d just have to be brave enough to see what my fate is. Thank you Disney for such an empowering movie. Will forever live in my heart.

I remember being in Disney just in January and they have a great new show on the castle, lights and fireworks together. They played all the music and it was brilliant , but for me and siblings standing freezing watching the fireworks and for brave to come on, after being on a 11 hour flight from Scotland, it was like a little piece of home and all three of us, in a crowd of American's shouted "SCOTLAND!" got a few laughs as well, love my country and Brave! great upload!

If i had known that this song was going to be this good, I would have went to the theater to see the movie itself. The very first time that i heared this song, it was of the segment of Brave that they used for the World Of Color water light show at the Disney California Adventure park and that is when i first got interested with the movie and then I bought it on DVD and watched the whole entire movie from the beginning to the end and I actually liked it.

this track was one of the standout moments in Brave for me. the rest of the movie was pretty good but the one sequence with Merida riding out on horseback and climbing to this track was fantastic. hell, the film had some amazing sound design in general, the sound of Angus' hooves and the wisps alone were worth half the price of the blu-ray.
i love every animation movie featuring local music/instruments! just like this movie and many others: moana, coco, brother bears, etc. there's something in their arrangements that pierce deeply into your soul
