Martha is a perfectionist and while there were accusations of being Martha being a mean girl employer, she has continued to grow her brand, despite 5 months in prison. But that is the only similarity between the two, a mean girl reputation.
Martha Stewart is very much an elitist and went to prison for her narcissistic behavior. She owed tens of millions in taxes she'd refused to pay. Her husband divorced her over her continuous narcissistic behavior. She's greatly disliked by many, and her choices of linen colors are purely ugly, and she uses slave labor.

I was friends with the late actor Donald Hotton who appeared in a few of Costner's films, in roles like the general in the opening scene of Dances with Wolves, and a minister in the final scene of The Bodyguard. So, those small acting parts paid in residuals have a huge impact. Says a lot about Costner that he will do things like this, and work closely with such a difficult person as my friend Don. Maybe Costner just feels done doing these kinds of favors, otherwise she really is poison.
