- My attempt at playing Bad Apple on everything. I found out you could use a Unity video player and get pixels from it based on the coordinates of creatures. This video is in real time but that many Squidcadas on screen causes a bit of stuttering.
Also my drives are replaced now so I can get back to making content. Thank you to everyone for the support and encouragement, means a lot.

I was just thinking to myself the other day how pretty much every form of media or game I've played had Bad Apple played on it, except for Rain World. This is no longer correct, and this is incredible.
Someone made a "Bad Apple played on five pebbles" a while back
This is honestly one of the most impressive things I've seen people do with Rain World

I am literally mesmerized and slack-jawed. I haven’t the foggiest how this was accomplished. Bad Apple really can be played on ANYTHING black and white.

This is not a serious suggestion as i have no idea how any of this works, but I wonder if you could get a higher res bad apple by doing the four corners of the video separately and then pasting them together in post? 🤔
I probably could do that actually, this uses an mp4 video that I could just swap for anything else so could chop up the video and do them one at a time.

how are your changing them from type a to type b on the fly? I though that took a room reload?
normally it would but there’s a little workaround if you run ApplyPalette again on every frame. Their color palette only checks for a Boolean called gender (which is normally tied to the type but can be changed)
