- This week I found a bottle I have been looking for for a very long time! It is not the kind of thing you find just lying around but I found it just lying around!

I love how Kate dresses for her adventures! You-do-you, girl! Love the dotty dungerees! Off shopping in the dirt and it's all free! My grown girls are coming home in a few weeks and we're dressing up just to play croquet... because, why not?

The men on the jug, I think he sits at the smith, having a tooth removed. The gent behind is holding him down, the man in the front is the smith holding out the prong.
You guys are my favourite larking channel and I always look forward to your videos - but I really hope/advise you to live your own life first & don't feel pressured to put out content on any given schedule. We will wait, happily, patiently :) x

We often mention that clay pipes are works of art, but honestly, some of those bottles are also works of art. They are unique, elegant and beautiful! The idea of making an essential and functional item such as a bottle with such beauty is something sorely lacking in our modern world of mass production.
Kate taking a holey basket there was like taking a knife to a gunfight . just not up to the task. You are lucky you took mum. LOL.That entire COd bottle nearly got Kate excited. Mum was very pleased too. I liked the fluted bottle never seen one like that. You had a very productive day without swinging a pick too.
Haha I think she thought she would find more bottles and figurines! I think we are going to try and temper our excitement a little in future videos! :)

I've been binging your videos for a few days now and I'm hooked! Your camera work doesn't make me dizzy and I love how excited you are for everything, I'm jealous all the way down here in boring Australia, I can't wait to do this when I (one day) live in England. Also at 11:22 there's a strange noise that sounds like a choir! I listened a few times and can't think what it would be? Line your red purse with a plastic bag or a re-usable bag. Did you take the Daltonware at 12:32? 12:54 what was the brown copper looking pot next to the bottle you took? 14:35 I would have taken the chamber top. You could plant something in the middle and put in a flower garden or herb garden

Just last week I was in an antique shop and saw some porcelain figures. I immediately looked at their faces to see if they were any that you had found! Such fun. I just love when you find faces.

It is very hard but the conditions of the dump are quite demanding and carrying a heavy bag around can make matters harder haha :)
Could the strange button thing with the chain or cord on the back be the collar connector around the top of a cape? I was a policeman years ago and we were issued capes, they had two things like that at the top, one with a chain and another with a hook to hold the cape together. Really enjoyed your search, wonderful excitement from both of you, have a good week and look forward to seeing you on Thursday.

Fabulous heads and wow what an amazing bucket list find, an intact Codd bottle with its jangly marble inside. Just a bit of feedback from a viewer's point of view, Fleur could you hold your fabulous finds in front of the camera for longer. Round up is wonderful to see more detail, even once they are clean but always nice to clock it when you find it. Cheers for another fab video and great choice of music.

Your cold cream lid (rose jam) had a British registry mark on the inside of the lid. You see it for only a second, when you flipped the lid over at 27:45 you can date it, and find out where it was manufactured....
I saw that mark. I needed the magnifying glass (which has obviously disappeared haha) :)

It is surprising how many doll pieces we find, I always presumed there was less of a throw away society back then but they did discard a lot of things :)
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers Well, once the porcelain ones were broken I can't see a parent letting a child still have it, so out it goes. I always thought there were more rag dolls - even without the ceramic heads & limbs! Is quite fascinating when you think about it. I grew up thinking most kids were chimney sweeps or tending pit ponies - maybe their childhoods were short & sweet?? And I don't s'pose there were many pits in Kent - apart from plums!! Have fun :) G

Hello all our clothes are second hand and too be honest these are the clothes we always wear haha :) We started making films before the Northern Mudlarks but our channels are similar as I think we are very similar people :)

What a fabulous place. So strange for an orchard to be grown on a tip. Love your enthusiasm for the little heads, when I was Mudlarking in Yorkshire at the location you visited with Tom I found a whole head from a larger doll. When I'm back in the UK I'll give it to Tom to give to you if you ever do a collaboration again as I don't have a use for it.
