「宝塚アカデミー音楽団」は10年前、楽団代表が地元の市民病院から 何か「コンサートをしてくれないか」という要望で訪問演奏をした事を きっかけに、自分たちで中々コンサートに行けない方々の為に ボランティアの訪問演奏を真剣に取り組む楽団として発足しました。 この活動に賛同するプロのスタジオミュージシャン・オーケストラ奏者 など、多様な方々も参加してくださる為、「吹奏楽コンクール」や 吹奏楽連盟関連の行事に参加せず、保育所・デイサービスセンター・ 老人ホームへの演奏を重ね、これまでに約160回の公演を経験しました。（このため関西の吹奏楽界でも殆んど無名に近い存在です） 訪問先の方々の中で定期演奏会の会場にこれない方から、「見れる方法は無いか？」というリクエストをいただいたことから、Ｙｏｕｔｕｂｅを利用 して公開しています。 厳しく見ると粗い部分も多く有りますが 「アカデミー」 の名の通り、専門家の熱い演奏を近くで感じ、勉強することで自分たちの演奏を少しでも高めて、訪問演奏先のお客さまに 喜んでいただける演奏を目指しています。
