the weird part with the interview came about because the interviewer (zach sang) was being poked with a pen by a producer, signaling him to wrap up the interview. I don't remember what was the occasion and what event that was, but i'm pretty sure interviewer has only certain amount of time they can spend interviewing one artist. the point is, bts were engaged, explaining and zach seemed very interested with continuing the conversation, he just had to wrap up. I'm sure if they had more time they would continue with the interview.

The interviewer Zach, BTS likes him a lot because he asks in dept questions about their music and not the standard, superficial questions. He also does good research about their music and has good knowledge about it. He was one of the very few RM agreed on interview him for the promotion of his Indigo album. (Excuse me for my bad English, it's only my third language).

Poor Zac his Producer was screaming in his ear piece to finish the interview as the time had run out.

I agree with whaI agree with what Boracity Magazine said about concepts but I think people who just doesn't care much about the lyrics or artistry would listen just bc they like the sound and looks more.
I personally do enjoy some songs like that too and of course i think sound is important, but through the years I started caring for lyrics and artistic identity more bc i realized how much singers or groups just didn't have any substance. And many times they sounded and looked similar to others, i didn't feel something original from them. Some stick or have a kpop concept since debut and then start to sound boring (but for some it works, so that's just me)
When i discovered BTS I noticed everything i cared about which made me love them even more and appreciate the art more. I can enjoy many fun songs or whatever, but when artists put their soul and thoughts with a concept, with a message or a story that makes sense in the whole album.. that's just hits different! 💜

The thing is i think it's fine if a artist has someone else write their music but they have to be involved somehow....they have to pick the songs, know the meaning, understand the song, related to it. That's what the issue is here there are too many that actually you feel they don't have any emotions towards the song and for me that ruins the music. If they relate to the music you can feel it.
However that being said i do believe if an artist makes their own music it makes it even better again and that what makes true artist the ones that have that thing (the IT factor for lack of a better saying) and that is what BTS have, they're true gold in a sea of silver and grey.

concept the word can be used for (A) what look are we aiming for eg visuals or (B) what are we trying to say what our ethos eg what message are we trying to convey (what are we telling people) so it's about context. Kpop uses the word 'Concept' to mean visuals where most people would use the word 'Concept' to mean far more than just visuals it's the complete package of what you want to sell get across. Concept means Idea, belief theory etc etc. Kpop only seem to only understand one part of the word Concept the focus only the visual aspect of the word.
    noun: concept; plural noun: concepts
Concept of the word an abstract idea.
example "structuralism is a difficult concept"

I don’t like k pop at all. I’m a metal fan where they normally write their own music. I could care less for visuals when the music is awful, the dancing esp in many girl groups are eh , and most of the songs are ok just for clubbing. I gravitated towards BTS because they had amazing dance, gorgeous visuals but their music meant and means something. They are true artists of music. That can’t be said for many k pop groups out there. Heck even just boy bands in general in uk or USA were terrible lol. Except boys to men

2:41 "i like the song, that's it" but song is music+lyrics. It is absolutely fine if artist makes songs without "profound" lyrics and just a fun song, if artist admits it and it's what he intended to do, it is already intention of the song "to be fun and easy" and if artists make all album like that and says: this album is fun and easy songs to listen and vibe...then this in itself is concept. Problem dtart when artists doesn't know why he made this song.
Ofcourse, ultimately it is listener decides what meaning to assign to song, but are you happy when you are fed with content that has no aim at all even to artists themselves?
Music is able to influence us subconsciously, like body if you feed it crap, you will be ill, if you feed your brain crap, it will feel crappy

I personally dislike the idea of a song having no meaning neither to the audience or the artists. In those cases, it's just the labels pushing out music for people to consume their products so they can make money with minimum effort. That doesn't sit right with me.
Making fun songs is alright - BTS does it too - but there can at least be a goal, the intention of bringing something to the audience instead of just making easy money

      Good music is.
But excellent music is interestingly the exact opposit.
Excellent music makes you think and can even change your thinking. It teaches you something.
That is true for all art.
If it is just pretty it is fine but not special and no long-time impression at all.
