Fascinating. But where are you now, as this was a few weeks ago? I did Bridlington to Filey Brigg last week. Tougher than expected.
Not nearly as far as one might think! Going to be a very long time before I hit Bridlington at this rate!

Not sure I would go into the water at Southend on sea, blue beach or not.
Oh it's all academic - I avoid going in the water anywhere on the coast!
