  • Some of these are just showing the moves especially with a knife, You have to have power to make anything work for real, because it's not just moves. A ballot dancer can make them look better than most martial artists can. But do they have the power to use it in a fight? Some of what you are seing here are patterns we rehearsed for some films. I think it's obvious as to the parts.

    This movement is so fluid, so smooth, it's truly a thing of beauty!

      I'm not too concerned with where things come from. A good movement is a good movement.

    One suggestion, if your entire body is in the frame, having your footwork visible may give people a better idea of what's going on.

      Sorry I can't control angles when people take out their cell phones and just start recording. They just start shooting and that's' what it ends up being.

      @@georgespogacich3066 lol. All good. I personally love these vids. Your foot work and the blocking that you do with your legs and feet is insanely fast. I think most people are just missing the action. Also, is there a branch of systema that you follow? I have been trying to learn more about this style for a long time now. But, no one in my city seems to practic.

      @@mckinleymorton Yes I think people do miss the action..When I have a student, I reference the video and they clearly didn't see all the details. Thanks..... It's takes a lot to observe every detail and those that can will learn faster.......There is a video of mine somewhere on here where I'm doing foot blocks exclusively against kicks.

      @@mckinleymorton Yes another guy and myself were the first ones certified under Vladimir Vasiliev back in the 90's. That was a long time ago and i'm no longer part of his association..No falling out like the rumors circulating. I was just missing in action for a while and just on my own ever since. I may one day get out and do seminars who know?

    How to use systema in Real full speed fight? I can be fully relaxed and use systema techniques only with weaker guys, but if I spar with someone on the same level it doesn't work well.

      Ok who is your teacher? You think you can just learn from tapes and youtube?.. The info is not there it's just used to promote.I'm saying this because over 20 years ago I thought the same as you until I was taught the real stuff and trained the correct way.. You will never do it from youtube videos.

      How can you say being relaxed doesn't work well against tougher guys.?You mean stress and tension does? lol dummy!!

    • @georgespogacich3066
      @georgespogacich3066  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@robertsledford5801 The first step is to realize that you are missing a lot from the video. It's something that you have to feel rather than see. It also helps a great deal if you already know how to fight since Systema is more like a set of scientific priciples that enhance what you already know, and make you better at it.
