Nilachal Vedic Village A Vedic farm community initiative of ISKCON Juhu/goshalas/farm

The village is situated in the Talasari Taluka of Palghar district, Maharashtra; about two hours drive from Mumbai. NVV is home to the Deities of Lord Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra, a natural farm, a purifying Gaushala with more than two hundred Desi cows and a comfortable guest house with recreational swimming pool
NVV has village ambiance which is spiritually vibrant and also serves prasadam prepared from chemical-free vegetables grown at the farm. This is enhanced further by the delightful taste of the fresh milk, butter, buttermilk, curd, and other cow products of our well-cared indigenous breed (desi) cows. The surroundings are appealing to people of all ages. Here ghee is produced by the traditional technique of churning the buttermilk, which is healthier than ghee made by other processes. Cow dung dhoop, go-ark, cow urine tablets etc. are some of the other products of this farm.
