TFF just released a new song today called "Tipping Point." A new album is coming out in February! It's been 17 years since the last one. They only release perfection.
I'm loving that you are getting into Tears for Fears. Now to get you into Depeche Mode and the Cure. You already dig the type of hip hop I love now you can get into the rock I love. Keep up the great work Jammin.
I love this song but I've never seen the video. It was interesting but it's also distracting for a first listener, and not in a good way. Oh well. JJ got it; he understands that the video-version of the song probably brings down the audio quality, which I think is true. Also, the images were so "strange" that maybe he couldn''t enjoy the song for it's merits, as much. But, JJ is a TFF fan now and that is a great thing!
He reacted to couple of their songs just type Just jammin tears for fears you should get the link. And on JJ he get the hits but we go beyond the hits that's what separate him from the rest of the reactors
@@wakeupstopsleeping6300 there are still club mixes of just about every pop, rock and r&b/hip-hop hit. there just aren't many record stores like prior to the 90s. you just gotta check the online stores... or soundcloud. as a DJ I tend to veer more underground, but I've had commercial gigs where the only way I could get through it was playing the better remixes. I'm sure if you searched any recent commercial song, of any genre, you could find remixes. the style has changed in most cases but there's still club versions of just about anything. 😀
I know what you mean JJ. The sound could be crisper and cleaner. Great reaction though. There are times where I would rather not watch a distracting video because it can detract from the song if it is busy and full of weird images like this one. Back in the days of music videos & MTV they required videos to sell songs and they would be played on a big screen in a club while we were dancing. So many videos do not match the songs. The Long Version without the video is like night night & day., in my opinion, shoot, even the 4:03 version without video is better sound quality, clearer, crisper, but this version is the best because it is Re-mastered & the video with the song is their performance showing playing the instruments, the sound is richer, and it sounds exactly the way it did on the dance floor in the 80's. th-cam.com/video/0_ecB0TKEeo/w-d-xo.html
There are only certain groups that make me FEEL the emotion of the music... Tears For Fears is one of them

The nostalgic value of this masterpiece is crashing me hard every time i hear this masterpiece brings tears
Another reason why The '80s ... and this is my favorite TFF song.

PM Dawn is the Tears for Fears of Hip Hop 👏
Huge TFF fan since the 80's & Pale Shelter was my favorite. Thanks for reacting to it. :)
I always crack up when the paper plane hits him in the eye. Lol Yeah this song is awesome! Their song Mad World got me into the band.
Agreed that bit with the paper plane kills me. Surprised they kept that bit in the video. 😂😂
@@shifterbbr1986 Exactly. I was thinking, why leave that in the video? Other viewers might find it disturbing. I felt his pain lol
For this one live is better in my opinion. Watching Curt play that bass line while singing this is kind of amazing.
I definitely recommend the working hour and listen both great songs

You should do their big songs, like Shout, Mad World, Woman in Chains, Sowing the Seeds of Love

the US 12 inch mix of Shout is pure old school hip-hop. we used to use two copies to cut up the break.
@@mitchwinthrop i love any 12 inch of good songs. The extension was for made the clubs they hardly make them anymore

@@wakeupstopsleeping6300 it’s good to go beyond the hits, but that doesn’t mean skip the hits altogether
