I just bought a new XT2 LT42 with Cub Cadet twin engine (not Kohler). You're right the proof is in the cut the lawn looks smoother like more of a surgical cut. My old Craftsman was 18 years old though. I haven't even tried my cruise yet I have like 1.5 hours on it or so. Talk about a tight turning-radius also!

RZT-S 54 for the open areas and a XT-2 42 inch for edges and corners. The XT-2 also becomes a 42 inch snowblower come winter. The neighbor boys take turns with the XT-2 helping with the lawn. It is equipped with a spreader for salt during the winter and weed and feed for summer. It is rigged with a hitchin' post for pulling and trailer ball .
I would never ever go to cub after having a Deere ... These have trans issues and the deck belts always come. Off . Take from a person who works on them for a living the new cubs r. Junk there made by mtd not cub it's just a name in yellow . John deeres r wat. I recommend always everyone e who baught one thank me .
@@stevenmaines9114 hey mate the xt2 are electric engagement that's meant to prevent the belts over stretching. John deere isn't what it used to be for sure. Cub cadets have a 6 year domestic warranty also.
@@callanmurphy9807 the new cubs r junk ... The deere that r soldnat lowes and at home depo r consumer models and r still built by deere . Belt with still strech with a electic ptos belt will wear more they dont stip wen u hit something like if u have manual engagement .. i had to put a new belt drive belt on a new cub thatcwasnt even a yr old . They have trans problems and the belts come off the deck all time .. deere. Dont have that problem and deeres cuz 10x better. I would never trade my deere for a cub ever!!!
@@stevenmaines9114 I haven't seen to many good reviews on the deeres though. Especially the new ones, just like their 30 second oil change, I've never owned either new ones but the old deeres have their own issues too
@@callanmurphy9807 the oil change can be removed and go back to regular briggs set up .. and thw only deere that get a bad review. Is the the first deere in the la line up cuz has a plastic trans amd that tractor was made for lowes and home depot ... The reviews are garbage .. dont lisen to them . I have have deeres from the 60s n 70s aint know of rhem have issues . Ill tow around them new cubs woth my 1970 70 deere like a reg doll.
What type of growth do you have there. It doesn’t appear to be grass. Does it grow any higher than clover. Should be a quick, easy mow for any level of ride-on mower.👍🇨🇦
hi i just sold my cub xt2,and gonna go green,i just wasnt happy with the cub,the throttle i keep hittin my knee on it,and didnt like where the gas tank was at i had it for 3 years,it did everything i wanted to do with it but i just wasnt happy with it,i had the smart choke aslo,i like the gas tank in the rear,so im gettin a john deere soon here,good video good luck with the cub.later.

Unreliable but it's better the cauage being 7000 series... I woulda went for a Deere there way better and mow better just better over all n made by Deere .. cubs r. Made by mtd . . IV fix some many of these for trans issues and deck belts there junk .
Every year they seem to introduce a cheaper transmission. Forget the arm rest, head lights, cell phone holder, cup holder and put more quality in the transmission

Buy 4 tires from a tiller, which are so thin and high that the tires can be mounted twice on each side. as a dualy setup

While cutting on a hill can you shift to the right to counter weight while side hilling
what made you go to a cub cadet and not another john deere?
I put about 6 to 8 hours a week on a big John deere , been thinking about going to cub cadet

the back yard there is more clover than anything and it's pretty shaded so it's thin. However the front is all grass and grows quickly.
