Thanks for taking us to such a local restaurant that only homecook seafood is served. My grandsons love 拖鞋鱼, always order it before they come back for holidays. Now hard to find, will buy and freeze them, They love the tails, often curi makan before meal is served. All the fish without the tails ! It is very crispy, they eat it like crackers.
In Tours, France, a good friend recommended her best friend from China to open a shop next to hers as that shop was vacant 4 years ago, thinking she is selling Sushi, Japanese food. Her friend often walked over to her kitchen to chit chat with her as business was not very good . After months, she started to serve 9 of her 12 dishes in her restaurant that made her very mad. My daughter didn't know the history as she often eat in the Japanese restaurant as her sons love Sushi and she loves Chinese food. 1 stone kills 2 birds. Until 1 day that shop closed and we went to her shop to eat, only then found out this heartbreaking story. Since then my daughter will eat in her shop and orders Sushi from the Japanese restaurant. We believe her as this shop serves much tastier Chinese food.
