Just want the dads to know that if they get another encounter next to Lavender tower! They need to wait until 3am (in game time) to ring the bell next to the tower and a cave should open up. In the cave there is only 1 pokemon that spawns and a few items but i believe that it is a different encounter. Really enjoy watching you two, thank you for all your guys work
Hey Dads, just so you know! The stats aren’t just copy pasted from the base Pokemon! The way stats are determined is for Attack, Defense and Speed, The body’s stat is multiplied by 2 and the head’s stat is added, and then it’s all divided by 3, and Sp. Attack, Sp. Defense and HP do the same, but with the head’s stat being multiplied by two instead! So, as an example let’s use Shady’s Magneton/Kyogre. To figure out its HP stat, we take Magneton’s HP stat, multiple it by two, add Kyogre’s, then divide it all by 3. Magneton has an HP stat of 50, Kyogre has an HP stat of 100, so we do 200 divided by 3 and get the HP stat of the fusion is 67, despite being a Kyogre fusion!
6:30 Shady walked to Nurse Joy and pressed 'no' for healing and left, too busy chatting with Dylan to realize he didn't have to wait for the healing animation.
Dad of 3 here, I 100% agree with the being too tired to play video games. I can't tell you how many days I get home from work and have 2 or 3 hours to play games before I have to pick my oldest up from kindergarten. Most days I end up just taking a nap, very rarely do I actually get to play. Keep up the great work guys, love watching you!
I love how they trade their 20 encounter and once they are nicknaming the new ones with numbers, they immediately forget that they had 20's and traded them.
The fact that the Slaking fusions name became Soloking made it so much more intimidating. Id that thing had a physical move and not traunt it would have lived up to its name
Something you can do, before each Gym Battle, is look at the little sign that's usually right outside, directly to the right of the gym. That sign tells you what the main typing of the Gym is, even in Nuzlockes, and it changes with the Nuzlocke
Also, I find that with college and my undergraduate research, when I do have free time, no game sounds fun. I just want to lay down, watch TH-cam, and nap.
You guys have made me fall in love with Pokemon again - fan games have always been an amazing part of the franchise but watching two Dads just loving Pokemon makes me so happy, I'm around the same age and it's just so damn wholesome. Hope this channel pops off even more than it already has done - deserves a 100k this month!
This is such a good idea for a channel. It’s like mixing a podcast like with you guys talking about your lives while playing Pokémon in the background it’s so entertaining I could watch you guys forever
1HP was mental, Totally get the dads gaming vibe, its difficult regardless of career once you have a child. You commit so much time and energy towards things in life that sometimes rather than playing i just sit in a call with my mates and chat
Mom here. Gotta be truthful here. I love you two as Poketubers. You're my both favorite out of the group, and out of all the poketubers I watch. Which is a lot. Absolute parent facts come from you guys, and I love the synergy y'all have.
The memories of sneaking my DS in my room at night to play balloon battle just came flooding back to me. Love the content dads, keep the good vibes coming!
I'm not a dad, but I do have a stressful life as a graduate student. I definitely have a hard time getting the energy to play games at the end of the day. Life gets in the way, but at the same time I appreciate the games I can play more when I find the time because its more rare. Love the content!
Not a dad necessarily but I play the “dad friend” in a social setting and I gotta say watching this feeling like a fellow dad is an amazing experienced. Much love, can’t wait to see what’s next.
The 1 HP put me at the edge of my seat. I love this series and this channel and I watch the vids whenever I can, usually while playing Pokemon myself. Keep it up, much love and support to you both!
I think it’s more about priority changes. It’s not that you’re tired is more that you would rather spend time with your kids or wife. It’s not about being older and having less energy it’s about having a change in priorities. I believe it’s a good thing.
Loving the channel! Just wanted to shoot out a thanks, you two have brought this dad back to pokemon AND the gym, starting to live better for my son. Thank you both!
I like how Shady starts of fighting a huge power fairy type, with his quad weak dragon fighting type, who luckily don't use play rough, switches into his legendary steel, special attacker, and almost dies because he clicks spark, instead of one-shooting with super effective stab.
Nothing I love more than getting home from a rough day at work and watching some dads! 1HP Yeah it gets tough to play games once home from work bc I just am so exhausted and want to turn my brain off and rest
I usually never comment but it really hit home hearing. That you're kids trying to help you out Taught you to take some more time doing something and just have fun. As a father of a " very helpful " 6 yr old I remember realizing that myself. Just another reason I love watching you guys ❤
Two things 1) I’ve been on the periphery of y’all’s community for 5-6 years now. It’s been cool to see yall adulting in similar spaces as I am. I know have a wife and we’re starting our family. It’s really cool to read comments and know this community is all in a similar space together! It’s awesome watching/listening to Pokémon content, anime talk, and parenting stuff! 2) Ifeel ya Dylan! Don’t have kids yet, but between work, training (ultramarathons), and spending time with my wife (who isn’t a gamer), I don’t game much anymore. When I do, I find games that I can play in 10-20 minute bouts (I’m really into YuGIOH master duel right now). The only other time game is with my family - we hop on FaceTime and play fall guys or Mario kart. It’s a great time to just hang out like we used to growing up! Thanks for the series dudes!
Hey just wanted to say, I stopped watching the content for a while (not that its bad, just wasn't keeping up with school and eveything), and I just wanted to tell you guys that this channel has reignited my love for the content you guys make. I actually can't wait to see where this series goes. Love the work and stay 'dads bein dudes'.
Agreed with the too tired to play games topic. I’m 31 and after a full day half the time I barely have enough focus to play even multiplayer games to actually play any good. Most of the time I just sit in training and watch TH-cam videos since I don’t want to be a hindrance to my teammates. Weekends are the best time for me to actually pay full attention to any game I play
Hey Dads, I have absolutely loved the fact I stumbled on to your channel. I have crammed every episode and the live stream in 4 days. It has been a roller coaster of a journey so far and I can’t wait for the Dudes to finally decimate.
Even when TH-cam just randomly reopened to that very same moment a second time, the 1 HP was just as insane the second time. 15/10 great series can't wait for more of it.
Gaming when we were younger was easier to do because we had more time off. Now gaming is for the weekends (assuming you dont have plans or responsibilities those days)
Those mysterious pillars that you put in place leads to one of the creepiest side quests of all time. For those who have done it, that moment when you're walking through the cave and the lights keep flickering with the creepy music. Ughh chills
40:29 I feel the same way as Dylan. It can be hard to sit and enjoy a game. Story games take me even longer now. It’s the best being a Dad and I want to give all of the rest of my brain power after work or on weekends for my kid. So the “free” time spent with my wife or by myself is just trying to decompress from the day and it’s hard to game like I use to as a kid. But I’m sure you know like I do, it’s worth everything spending time with your kid. Much love from a fellow Dad, thank you both for the great content!
As a dad of three kids under the age of eight. I totally agree with you Dylan it's tough to find time for yourself even just to play some video games but what I always hear from other parents is enjoy the time while they're young because there will be a time where they don't want to play with you.❤
Don't comment on a lot of videos, been having some shit lately and love how positive you guys are. Even when things are bad theres no toxicity or bad vibes. Keep doing what your doing, look forward to each upload, brightens my day a bit :) ❤
I can't figure out when p3dr0garch0mp made that Gardevoir/Gallade sprite but I found a different Gardalade sprite posted on the Infinite Fusions subreddit 4 years ago that also looks like Iron Valiant. So the vague idea was around before Scarlet/Violet in 2022.
I feel you Dylan. I love video games but working a full time job and doing your other errands and having a family its difficult to have the energy to do something that like. I definitely understand where you come from especially with rewatching things that I've already watched to not think and sort of veg out.
Yesss Dylan my fellow 29-y.o. who experienced the peak that was Mario Kart DS 🙌 And I definitely feel you on being too tired for video games, I often play for like 30 mins at night then fall asleep lol
Shout out dads! As a dad that's still has a game attached to my hip at 39+. Much applause my dudes. PS Dylan, I finally started TOTK, first true Zelda game since Ocarina of Time. Keep it shady.
I had the same thing of game tiredness in the past and honestly cozy games helped a lot. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea but games like stardew valley really helped me rediscover my love of solo free time gaming.
After the heartbreaking lost encounter in the tower, I feel like they should be able to use items in none trainer battles, yeah it might make it alot easier to cath mons, but we'll get alot more cool fusions on the team as well. Anyway thx for the great entertainment with the series guys, love to all my fellow dads out there🎉
I don't understand people saying they're too tired to play games after work and spending time with their kids, and not having the weekends to really play games either since they're with their kids. Like... _yeah._ You chose to have _children,_ and you have other responsibilities. Naturally, you're tired. But...obviously you're tired and don't really have time or energy for it
I think about getting home and playing a game all shift and then get home and am way to tired to focus on doing anything more then wandering in a game.
I usually work evenings to late nights. So I get home anywhere between 9pm-12am depending on how tired I am. I can game for an hour or two. I can't just come home.shower, go to bed, I gotta take time to decompress. My days off, I can game no problem. But then again, I don't have Crotch goblins ruining around. I gotta worry about 🤣🤣 Love the series keep it up.
For me, it’s hard to decompress playing a game at night after working a long day, coming home to the two kiddos making dinner and playing then finding time to play. The only thing that gets me to play more is me being in a Pokemon group and always doing events together we make up
Shady my fellow dad, to put your mind at rest if you read this comment, the entrance to the hidden forest is in Celadon City! The 1HP reaction was my fave part of this episode and I kinda facepalmed last ep watching you guys leave the ship just to heal instead of going into your own specific room and using the bed XD
As a parent, the closest to gaming I get is watching others play. Being a parent is amazing, but it’s exhausting, especially to young kids. So I totally understand the problem you are having! I average probably 10 hours a year gaming myself while I played probably an hour or 2 per day before kids. I do hope that when my kids get older I’ll be able to play games with them a bit. Currently though, I agree with Shady, it’s just life. My priorities are different because even though sometimes it feels like a sacrifice, my kids are ultimately my priority in life and bring me the most happiness.
100% feel that way about not being able to find time to game anymore. I work as a full time server so about 40-50 hours a week sometimes, and you throw on top of being in nursing school anytime I get spare time it’s to detox. I miss the days of being able to game when I want
As for your conversation about being able to play video games after working. I think its all about how you choose to spend your mental energy. I work over night stocking shifts and it's rough, but I just dig in and get my work done and don't let it drain any of my mental energy. It's difficult to do this, but if you study the Dao it can help you find the ability to separate oneself from the mental burden of life and keep that energy.
That bell in lavender town is part of a side quest with an old lady in celadon hotel. Ring the bell at 3:10-3:20 and you get access to a special area with a new encounter. Its a small thing but this is one of my favortie side quests :)
Talking about exhaustion is so real. I work an office job, don’t have human kids but 3 dogs, 2 of which are 3 paws out the door at this point and like. I play some ARAM in league because it’s full brain off for me but I really don’t even have the juice to game or mental stamina to read subtitles to watch anime or follow other shows. I might come across a new roguelike (my fave genre) and be obsessed for a little but then after initial hype, it falls off a cliff. Then weekends I spend sleeping to get ready for the weekly run back 😭.
I'm not even a dad and only work part time and i definitely feel the "too tired to game as much" thing, especially getting together to play with friends.
I 100% agree with Dylan. I always want to play new games, but with how busy I am with school and work the only games I find myself playing are somewhat mindless games like madden or 2k. The thought of having to sit and put headphones on and invest doesn’t seem as relaxing as watching TH-cam and playing madden or Minecraft mindlessly
i love how dylan praises his nose while not knowing he can evolve it w his sun stone
This has been killing me 🫠
@jaystrapz me too lol
Honestly I think he wants it to die
I personally think that's part of the charm. Just look at that thing.
I didn’t realize he already has a sun stone, I’ve been waiting for him to find one 😵🤐🫡🤗🥸🥲
Just want the dads to know that if they get another encounter next to Lavender tower! They need to wait until 3am (in game time) to ring the bell next to the tower and a cave should open up. In the cave there is only 1 pokemon that spawns and a few items but i believe that it is a different encounter. Really enjoy watching you two, thank you for all your guys work
This!!!
1 hp is actually INSANE ai read him like he was a 2 page comic book
because infinite fusion is rigged to have the npcs react to your moves
Hey Dads, just so you know! The stats aren’t just copy pasted from the base Pokemon! The way stats are determined is for Attack, Defense and Speed, The body’s stat is multiplied by 2 and the head’s stat is added, and then it’s all divided by 3, and Sp. Attack, Sp. Ah, so weighted average.
67% head and 33% body for SpDEF, SpATK and HP
67% body and 33% head for ATK, DEF, and SPD.
Good to know.
6:30 Shady walked to Nurse Joy and pressed 'no' for healing and left, too busy chatting with Dylan to realize he didn't have to wait for the healing animation.
How do I download this game??
@@zerooftheblackknights1615they have an official website with the download. all the info should be explained there.

17:51 Shady's reaction is amazing lmao 1 HP
That Moltres/Machamp fusion is SO sick. I love that sprite so much.
I like how thumbnails are not clickbait and seeing you write the ideas down just makes me love unedited content so much more . ❤ This channel man
1hp

Erica’s Pokémon in the ally double battle probably had the same type too
They know this, they've done it before. But sometimes they take the leap instead and it's SO FRUSTRATING.
1HP was INSANE dude, hoooooly. So much joy watching this series man. Love u guys
Also, I find that with college and my undergraduate research, when I do have free time, no game sounds fun. I just want to lay down, watch TH-cam, and nap.

That 1hp live scared me so bad. I love that pairs fusions. GG on the badge Dads
1HP was mental, Totally get the dads gaming vibe, its difficult regardless of career once you have a child.
You commit so much time and energy towards things in life that sometimes rather than playing i just sit in a call with my mates and chat
mad props to your thumbnail artist! I'm alway so impressed by them!

That 1 HP made me gasp so hard I choked on my water 😂 praise Arceus
The memories of sneaking my DS in my room at night to play balloon battle just came flooding back to me. Love the content dads, keep the good vibes coming!
The mysterious prism quest is for Necrozma. Also love how adding fusion a takes away all prior knowledge of Pokemon 😂
I'm not a dad, but I do have a stressful life as a graduate student. I definitely have a hard time getting the energy to play games at the end of the day. Life gets in the way, but at the same time I appreciate the games I can play more when I find the time because its more rare. Love the content!

27:41 Thumbnail moment, also love how their arms and bodies move backwards in sync

I absolutely am loving this series and the dynamic of y’all together in general.

1 Hp is still crazy , btw love watching vids
Another solid episode! 7.5 months into fatherhood myself, and this channel has seen me through too many contact haps to count 😂
As a dad of three kids under the age of eight. I totally agree with you Dylan it's tough to find time for yourself even just to play some video games but what I always hear from other parents is enjoy the time while they're young because there will be a time where they don't want to play with you.❤
1HP! Love you guys, your channel is legit my favorite. Can’t wait until you go back to Radical Red as well! Keep it up fellow dads!
Don't comment on a lot of videos, been having some shit lately and love how positive you guys are. Even when things are bad theres no toxicity or bad vibes. Keep doing what your doing, look forward to each upload, brightens my day a bit :) ❤

1hp is actually outta pocket. AI read him backwards!!
As a father to a one year old it's just so difficult to take time to play games that I WANT TO that's honestly why I watch you guys.
I feel you Dylan. I love video games but working a full time job and doing your other errands and having a family its difficult to have the energy to do something that like. I definitely understand where you come from especially with rewatching things that I've already watched to not think and sort of veg out.
A day where I can sit down and just play a game for some hours straight is only on days off, but man do those days give a nostalgia boost 🙏🏽
I can so relate to just wanting to decompress at the end of some days. Luckily there is this channel and the great content to help twice a week lol
Love it, im just biting my T every episode like every 3min :)
Yeah no. 20 was the ones u traded to get those 2 new monsters after erika ;)
Did I really binge all the episodes in one day? Yes yes I did!!! Love the jokes the dad talk and just the good vibes 🎉🎉🎉🎉
42:40 😳 😮 It happened so fast. What a ridiculous series of events shady!
That 1hp gave me a slight heart attack.
I had the same thing of game tiredness in the past and honestly cozy games helped a lot. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea but games like stardew valley really helped me rediscover my love of solo free time gaming.
That 1hp was legendary, every episode gets better and better keep it up guys, also Dylan evo the nose lol
After the heartbreaking lost encounter in the tower, I feel like they should be able to use items in none trainer battles, yeah it might make it alot easier to cath mons, but we'll get alot more cool fusions on the team as well. Anyway thx for the great entertainment with the series guys, love to all my fellow dads out there🎉
Definitely not alone being exhausted! Being a dad takes a lot of energy. Just stay strong and keep being a dude!
I don't understand people saying they're too tired to play games after work and spending time with their kids, and not having the weekends to really play games either since they're with their kids. Like... _yeah._ You chose to have _children,_ and you have other responsibilities. Naturally, you're tired. But...obviously you're tired and don't really have time or energy for it
37:50 that Shuppet/Azumarill fusion on Shady's side was so cool lol
I'm never tired enough to give up playing video games, even with working/exercising. Getting that time with the boys is too important
I think about getting home and playing a game all shift and then get home and am way to tired to focus on doing anything more then wandering in a game.
love the content guys that you for making my day better every time you release
I love that since you're doing this every few days, you're doing nice longer vids
1HP!! Wait a wildly emotional gym battle for Dylan 😂 absolutely loving this series and this channel
In options on main menu you can turn on level cap so it will scale with the game properly
Talking about not wanting to game as much being older cause your exhausted is valid affff
I usually work evenings to late nights. So I get home anywhere between 9pm-12am depending on how tired I am. I can game for an hour or two. I love the face Shady makes at 5:09 after making a dad joke.
You guys can just look at the sign outside the gym to see what type it is
1 HP. Intense Battle with Erika. Thanks for the new video!
Gaming has always been my motivation to get through my day as a treat to myself
I feel the same Dylan, too many nights I finally find time to game and fall asleep with the controller in hand. Wish I had my kids energy.
Shady just refusing to grab that one pokeball in the sewer room annoys me more than it should.
Shady like 'as cool as this looks it will go away soon' then murders it 🤣🤣
The bell in lavender town needs to be rung at "3am" according to your game, and you'll get an encounter there as well! Good luck with the bed Shady xD
As a parent, the closest to gaming I get is watching others play. Being a parent is amazing, but it’s exhausting, especially to young kids. So I totally understand the problem you are having! I average probably 10 hours a year gaming myself while I played probably an hour or 2 per day before kids.

I completely agree with Dylan. As an adult it is hard to choose between decompressing and playing video games
100% feel that way about not being able to find time to game anymore. I work as a full time server so about 40-50 hours a week sometimes, and you throw on top of being in nursing school anytime I get spare time it’s to detox. I miss the days of being able to game when I want
17:10 WAY too much happened at once right here XD So glad there wasn't a future sight.
2024 March 2 Quote of the day “All of my moms are decently thick” By: Dylan
I 100% agree with Dylan. I always want to play new games, but with how busy I am with school and work the only games I find myself playing are somewhat mindless games like madden or 2k. The thought of having to sit and put headphones on and invest doesn’t seem as relaxing as watching TH-cam and playing madden or Minecraft mindlessly
The way I screamed with you guys when you got the 1HP!😂
not gonna lie but the Moltress Machoke staying alive at 1HP was pretty wild. good luck to y'all in your future adventures dads
