After you leave that room, come back to it and you'll notice that they aren't in the room anymore, but mr kabob man is still there, press the button on his back and a secret door will open in that room behind that door is a secret key card, you may be wondering what you can do with your newly acquired key card, go back to the room where you first encounter bittergiggle (the jester), there will be an unopened door there, use your new key card on the scanner, then bring sparky into the room have him hit the button above the key card scanner, the door will then open and you will find something new (i don't want too spoil whats inside the room, but its really cool) Secret number 2: you remember those case update reports? Brandon could've just grabbed the water from the cobblestone generator, and mlg water bucketed on the ground, He also could've just used the ice block to swim off the island, he also could've just died and respawned on the ground, also he could've chopped down the tree, make a boat and then sail of the island because when you're in a boat, and you fall off a cliff, you don't take fall damage at least in java edition, and if there was a bed that kept him from jumping off, he could've just broken the bed and then jump off, he also could make the lava flow off the island, and once it hits the ground he could jump off, but right before he hits the ground get in the lava and get back out, idk if this glitch still hasn't been patched, but he could also crouch glitch and jump off the island, though the timing is difficult, he also could've just waited for an enderman to spawn, try to get an enderpearl and then pearl off the island, and he could also make a cobblestone generator, and get enough stone to bridge over to the nearest water source, also brandon could jump off, disconnect and reconnect right before he lands, and also could've made a bed jump off and then place and click the bed right before he lands and respawn on the ground, and thats ALMOST all the obvious solutions to escape this island brandon just ignores them, either he is actually a minecraft noob or he didn't think about creating a skyblock world.

The phantoms (flying bats) do drop something, it's called a phantom membrane but one, it's a small chance that it drops one, two, it's basically not even useful on the island.
