Contrary to popular belief you can ground balance on a target and if it's any kind of metal it won't ground balance out the target. Especially if it's gold. I do it the 5000. I haven't dug a hot rock in a long time. Ground noise is easier to identify. And if your still not sure ground balance next to it again like normal, then locate and dig it. How many hotrocks have we all dug prospecting and how much time and effort would we save if there was a solution to ground loaded with hot rocks? Try it people. It was a game changer for me.
The 6000 will actually tune out hot rocks itself if you keep waving over it. Pretty smart machine. Unfortunately, some hot rocks are just HOT and no ground balancing will remove them, in my opinion. Cheers Roger 🍻

A weekend could earn myself $250-$1k ? Unfortunately they are very strict with the difference of fossicking to actually prospecting. But this I understand as unfortunately some people have little respect for there rubbish and sometimes some serious unnecessary complete destruction of river banks. Causing the rain season to sadly finish the rest of that mess. I appreciate sir very much taking the time to respond 👍👍😆🇦🇺❤️
