So the admission committee wants me to digitally legalize my documents.

Sir kindly answer, I came to know that now legalization is carried out through apostle as Pakistan has signed to hague convention and can be done through mofa but mofa hasnt begin services yet. So legalization from belgium embassy is to be done?
I got my documents legalized at thr start of this year from embassy. Till then, embassy was doing all the legalization. I dont know the updates. You can call mofa office and ask.

When you are registering after coming here in belgium, birth certificate is required during that process ( sometimes they dont ask about it but sometimes they do)

In my case, i did not legalize any educational docs. I only legalized my police character cert.
But rules may have changed since then. You should consult belgium embassy website for current rules and regulations.

I submitted my police certificate for legalization in gerry office now its been 20 days I haven't receive any call or email from them.I tracked my application as you said it's showing under process and also they're not responding of my email. My employer, he have to submit my application file again he got reminder from embassy to resubmit the file after legalization but I haven't receive it yet what should I do now??
Email embassy. Mention your reference number and everything and ask them about status. THey will reply to you in 3 4 working days.

There is some confusion. I am applying for Ghent university and there is requirement to either legalized your documents or apostille the documents. I have further investigated and it is found that if a document is issued in Pakistan, it requires apostile becuase Pakistan is a part of Hague Treaty which excluded the need for legalisation. Kindly clear this confusion, are the documents need to be legalised or apostille, as mentioned before the website state that documents issued in Pakistan need apostille.

A few years ago ghent uni needed legalized docs from embassy. But i am not sure now.
Normally You can ask your program coordinator via email. Or contact any person who applied to Ughent from Pak recently.

I just researched on this topic. I found this:
Pakistani documents to be used in Belgium need to be legalised by the Belgian Embassy in Islamabad, as Pakistan still needs to implement the 'Apostille Convention' to which it has acceded in 2023.
