I still have very long hair but very protective of it! Amazing how long hair can grow! Mines just above the waist if straightened definitely overdue for a trim!

Cutting long hair is actually a big step. Beautiful girls! It's crazy to see Rachel with short hair, as i am one of her friends at school. I can't imagine her with long hair anymore! They both look so pretty!
How proud of your girls must you be mum
I bet if they had headaches before they don't anymore. I had hair down to my butt and headaches all the time. My mom wouldn't let me cut it until a doctor told her it would probably take away my headaches, and it did. Easiest doctors order I ever followed.
I doubt hair can give you a headache.
@@nancyfarkas3592 Definitely the weight of long hair can cause pain and by cutting the hair shorter can take the pressure of the nerves in the scalp

I use to have longer hair but I would get horrible headaches so started getting it cut shorter and it has helped some. ❤ Beautiful ❤

No.... the ladies had such wonderful super long hair, it was a shock to see it getting cut off. .. It was much too beautiful to be cut even an inch....
They were both very keen to raise the money and to cut their hair. They've been talking about doing this for a long time. their hair was and is still very beautiful ;-)

You girls are such a blessing!!!!!! So very proud of you !!!! ❤ My 29 year old niece Shelby passed away last year from breast cancer . She fought so hard for 19 months! So I also say thank you !!!! God bless !

@@TheBonellFamily thank you ! Shelby’s oldest daughter looks just like her ! Pray for her girls please . Avery is 9 and Emmri is 3 years old . Shelby was pregnant when the cancer was found . Mom beat her breast cancer . So difficult some days to accept she is gone and thank God for the short time she was here . Thank you again ! God bless .

I hope these girls were not guilted into cutting off their gorgeous hair. Hair charities are not needed. Millions of long tails already go to waste. Notice that virtually no one ever learns who gets the donations.
Well of course not. It was totally their decision. And I'd be happy to share with you where the hair goes and what happens to it. And I can also tell you what the money raised goes to. I'm sure the Cancer Council would also be happy to contact you and let you know what happens to funds raised if you'd like to hear. Have a nice day!! PS it would be truly lovely if you considered donating to such a great cause ;-)
@@TheBonellFamily That is great. I have known so many people who cut their coveted hair for Locks of Love and others, only to find that fewer than 1% of the donations were used in the making of actual wigs.
