I haven’t played since BfA so maybe I’m missing something but what was that warlock doing in the first clip when xaryu killed the paladin? Sleeping? Dude was over in Africa not in any cc or anything. All he did was immolate.

If you really want to disprove this idea the mages are op and it's all about skill you should take every other class and win a 1 v2 against a rogue and a mage...
You fail to understand that 99% of the mages would have insta died in every of these scenarios
@@MadnessIRL at first it didnt make sense to me, but hes actually right. Only a class as good as mage or rogue can do this. They also have very high skill ceilings, which is why not everyone can do this, but the classes themselves are pretty busted. An equally skilled ret or shaman could literally never dream of surviving this many goes.

Pull of a 2mins+ 1v2 with like shaman or hunter and we speak. If mages aren't "op" why don't you play other classes/roles, none other than mage can survive this nightmare, no tp on stun no block to full life, no cs, no dragon breath into cheap or ring of frost on demand... gl&hf.
I'm not saying you don't deserve the credit but mage have facilities to turn the game around on a clutch move cuz they have the skill set for it and don't get to much annoyed by multiple ennemies either. And, 1.7k MMR come on my man you're not playing in your league XD. But I respect and like the plays. Wouldn't be here if not. Special mention for the mald mage and rogue buddy impression 🤣
That salt getting to ya man? Haha. I mean to be fair, mage can be busted AND you can style on people with 1.5k less xp than you. You’re super good but mages are indeed incredibly good. I mean they’re in EVERY tourney team just about. And not just rostered, but used. Can’t ignore that.
i think it's a combination of mages being really good, xar being a god, and the people in these clips being kinda bad.

Yeah bust and deep wont work, either you nerf bust to the ground and get deep or keep it as it is. I'd like blizz to just rewind back to mop mage, sure retails bust is fun but nothing beats the old alter deep bust setup

Yeah, depends on what you are playing into, and what they do with positioning and cds. These guys are standing here assuming they win a game that the other player didn't just leave. A little bit of critical thinking says if someone didn't just leave the match they probably think they can win. You should play to respect that opinion. The mage just sat there tunneling cds into an iceblock for the last match while standing at 50% hp. Maybe go to the pillar and get a eat/drink or a couple band-aids ticks.
People who say no class should be able to 1v2 are sore losers, the ability to 1v2 is a reward for mastering every class, because not only do you need to know your own class inside and out as well as the mechanics of the game but you ALSO have to know pretty much everything about every other class as well as being able to take advantage of common human error.
You can say they're sore losers but i mean in some situations theres literally nothing u can do but get 1v2'd
@@BovineIntervention I think in every clip in this video there were something obviously wrong the other team was doing like throwing big defensive when literally nothings happening etc. Mostly probably because they are now doing 2v1 so they let their guard down and not really thinking as hard as they should be.
@@jerryscared also, at least in the first clip it's a multi glad vs people in 1400-1500 mmr. Not really too insane to do a 1v2 against people who have less gear and skill than you.

Xar plays so well. I remember my buddy was a destro warlock back in cata and he was one of the best in Nagrand server (not saying much as it wasn't a pvp server) but I used to think he rocked everyone. But watching Xar is just a whole level above that casual pvp with knowing your class and other player classes.
as nice as these are, it really highlights how awful a pvp experience is for a less geared/skilled player. Quit after season 1 when ladder was nothing but glads boosting people.
This is the big reason I left WoW. When Shadowlands came out, PvP had great potential, and then we found out we had to jump threw a hundred hoops just to be VIABLE in PvP. I'd get shit on for doing Arena skirmishes because people would say to never go do arena ranked because I didn't have the right gear from PvE to play. From there, I stopped. Would love to have just grinded PvP games all day to get better PvP gear rather than doing that AND Torghast AND essenses etc etc.
@@Larryandhisbelts been back 2 days and I have 265 pvp ilvl and 2 set bonus, both legendaries and I worked 8 hours both days. The only content I did outside of arena was the main story and dailies. They're making it so easy but you lot just constantly complain.

Hi Xar love your videos! The DH lived at 10:30 because he popped his demon right when he was getting kidneyed. The new necrolord leggo makes it so when the demon explodes on you you get a -40% dmg debuff on the DH. That demon proc was super lucky there.

Maybe rogues and mages are OP, but if you don't play in your league then probably no class is op.
This has been seen very well in the Zero to Hero Challenge, that here the enormous skill difference makes a lot of difference.

I think in the first arena they had the match in the bag but a combination of impatience and overconfidence doomed them. The pally really messed up there like badly.
The first set was a buddy of mine man. I'm glad to see they at least out up a fight. That lock helped me get 2k so many times on so many alts lmao.

I love Xar but it's a bit disingenuous to even raise the argument of "rogues and mage are OP" after the second clip. You're one of the best mages in the world beating up on 1400-1800 MMR people. It's like an NBA player 1v2ing some high school kids; sure, we can appreciate the skill it takes, but it doesn't really serve as an example for class balance one way or the other.
The thing is people say he’s only able to 1v2 because mages are “broken” so he’s bringing that point that he’s 1v2 other mages on mages best comp
Yeah kind of how i felt in the first match when I am playing at 1600 mmr and didn't realize I was against Xaryu... a typical 1600 mage at 4% health is not going to 1v2. Guess I should have paid more attention to who we were going against to be fair. There is a reason playing with viewers you play with lower rated people than the higher rated ones... more chances for silly 1v2s... and at 1600 mmr I am not exactly sweating to win, specially in 2s.

For two seconds of my life, I saw a mage walking on his back after a leg sweep from a monk. I think I get it now, it's becoming clear that I'll NEVER understand this game.
Anyways, he can do all this shit AFTER his teammate dies, but while he's in a 2 he's not pulling moves? Maybe preventing rogue death? Is this a carry orrr?
