Love your videos man. It's not all flashy editing and product plugs like so many other overlanding or car camping type channels. I live in South Carolina, for now, and I'm taking a trip out to LA to see some old army buddies of mine. I leave this Saturday and plan to hit various national forests and BLM land to camp along the way. I watched so many videos and did a ton of reading the last few months to get info I may need, and I always end up coming back to your channel. I got a renegade also, so many of your videos are beyond helpful. So, thank you for sharing everything with us. It is genuinely appreciated!
Thank YOU. You just made my day, I only make videos because it’s fun to share what I’ve learned and try to be helpful. I have a full time job so it’s difficult to make these so it’s good to know people enjoy them. Have a safe trip! I bet you’re going to have a blast now that the weather is a bit nicer! Thanks again!
Most of the park has dispersed camping, so there is no fee. For the designated campsites there is a 15-20 fee that you pay as you drive into the site. For those, you’ll see a brown sign with the site name and a little metal box nearby. There, you’ll find these tiny yellow envelopes where you can put your vehicle information and the cash payment. You keep a piece as your receipt, and put the envelope into the lockbox.
@@DaHoodScientist I am. The moon rises around 2:30am so it should be pretty decent. I want to get some photos of the moon too so it works out. I just hope it’s clear skies. I plan on staying at Culp Valley. 3k ft elevation should make for good skies.
Anza is phenomenal, isn't it? I was there this past weekend and it was incredibly humid! I suffered a bit but I was able to spot lots of cool wildlife!
I love the disco, elevator music millennial use in their videos. Wouldn't want to use Santana or ZZ Top and hurt someone's little feelings.lol. Thx for the video brother.

Thanks for the video. I’m going out there this weekend for stargazing with my telescope. I hope it’s dark out there.
I’m sure you’re keeping track of the moon! I was out there this past weekend and it was a little bright but I hope you get a beautiful dark sky !
