Folks in SoCal are so fortunate to have that great year long weather and all those historic tracks around open for all. Greetings from Canada......burrr
It is really great to see young people out there living the life style we had 50 years ago! I still have my fully chromed out custom 67 BSA Lightning, but I just sold my 69 Triumph trident hardtail bobber 3 months ago🏁🏁
I was born 1958 and actually grew up in a family like this in the video 📹 with TRIUMPH, NORTON, BSA and Playboy Magazines ♥️ Everyone smoked cigarettes and played guitar 🎸 There was so much style back then. You could name a bike by its sound and you definitely tell the difference in appearance and that's tricky to do today because Bikes all look like Jetskis. I rode Bikes and played in a band and 66 years later I'm still riding my 21 year old Honda cb 500s. I loved this video, it was very Cool 😎
I so relate to your story. There were kids all over the neighborhood, and everyone had skateboards and Stingrays. We all graduated to minibikes, then dirtbikes, then "real" motorcycles. My dad had a Honda 150 but my buddy's mom had a boyfriend with a 650 Bonneville. We would sneak into his garage and just stand next to the bike in awe.
So lucky in the US, so much open space. Pretty much impossible here in the UK to find any decent unregulated space to ride, and getting more difficult all the time. Great movie, great music too!!!
This was great. Bikes, beers, girls and guitars...What's not to love? I also spotted the Danbury Cycle Ranch license plate surround - I remember that place from when I was kid.
Was very nice to watch how you work with the Triumph Bonneville I started with a Norton Dominator then a Bonneville bsa Rocket 3 cyl and a lot Tridents and Norton commandos now i am 73 and stil drive a Triumph thruxton 1200 and have still a lot of fun with te bike Keep going folks and have fun with it Greetings from Holland
What a lovely tale of a group,of people living their lives on their own terms. There’s something charming about these simple folk following their passions.
Damn that brings back many fine memories, built a few old pre unit and unit Thunderbirds in the lounge room and a copy of Roy Bacon on the coffee table. Back then ordering parts from England would take 6 months or more to arrive in Australia. Lots of bush mechanic technology went into keeping them going sometimes. Awesome production guys , love your passion
Great video.. bought my 69 Bonneville at Munroe Motrors on Valencia st in San Fransico . Went to the Mississipi Gulf Coast and back that same year. .Met my wife, who I am with to this day. It was my only means of transportation. It was stolen in Lafayette Calif. 1970. I miss it to this day.
Got my first T140 Bonnie in 1980 had many over the years, I’m 61 now and spend my days on an old Africa Twin, but miss the old Triumphs and Norton, fond memories of taking them apart in the shed…. Great movie
I really enjoyed this video! My first was a '71 Bonneville and later a '79 Special. I currently own a '76, shown on my channel. I agree.. Great Bikes ! 😀
Very cool video! My first street bike is my 1971 Triumph Bonneville. Bought and rebuilt it from the crank up when I was 17. I'm 56 now, and doing the third rebuild after a decade fight with cancer. Just dropped the cylinder barrels on yesterday. I painted the frame, tank, fenders, etc back in 2012. That's when my battle began. Can't wait to ride it again. I noticed you extended your front conical brake arms. I plan on doing that to mine also. Did you extend the single rear arm also?
Really loved the flow of the production and the vibe. Everyone real and sincere. Watching from wet and windy Ireland. The camera work and the bike work. All connected. Respect.
Dave Degan was famous and built Tritons 😂 norton featherbed frames with triumph T120 650 motors. Some liked the old pre unit 650 with magneto ignition but others liked twin carb alloy head 650 motors.
BSA rocket 3 was very quick and handled really well and were 120mph. As was the T150 triumph trident. Morton 750 fastback was quick but blew up and the mk 2 royal enfield interceptor was such a good bike with a great engine and it was quick. In the late 1960s.
I luv this, hotties, BSA A10, A65, 650 triumphs, and beer. Those.bikes lightened, flatracker style are beautiful. I love BSA A10 myself, such good bikes magneto ignition and great frames. Stick on a T140 front end with lockheed brake calipers and it transforms the brakes.
one of the best biker films out there as its real people just enjoying there bikes and there life , no egos and money making plots , best film not on netflix or amazon thanksfully , make a 2 as the audence is there for more films like this as it inspires people to just enjoy ya friends and ya hobbie whatever it is
Sorry to say, and I know I might be wrong, BUT, I loved this whole production. I think I seen some before, but this is epic. Love the Music, the bikes, the Lady's, the comradery, the back stories, everything. I am from calif. and used to live in Taft outside of Bakersfield. Would like a soundtrack on this. Music is the best. No Joke. Closest I got to a Triumph was friends had them, AND, I rode a Yamaha 650 Special around for years, from 2000 to 2010. Had it all stripped down. Loved that bike. Motocross bars, and nothing on it that did not make it go. Used to get pulled over all the time, but since I worked at Harley Davidson???????On Harleys, as a mechanic, hahahahahaha, free pass. Had my HD Ins. Card. SF Bay Area. Always wanted a Norton though. Got a 1996 Sportster now. Living in Hawaii. Thanks for the production.
To those who are watching this video, ignore the TH-cam TV and TH-cam premium ads just please ignore them they are getting annoying just press the skip ad button
Just watched again. Literally people living their dream. My questions remain...1.From the bikes, gear, parts and custom machine work to putting on No Admission Hell On Wheels events.... how do these various folks, and Meatball in particular finance this idyll? 2. How does Mrs. Meatball get the attention she needs and deserves in the midst of the wrenching, riding, racing, drinking and singing and general hanging out...??
As an East Coast Triumph guy, this is pretty cool to see some of the California flavor. BUT!!! At 52:45 a nice shot of bike and girl with trophy next to to a UP train engine, could've been ruined by a release of the toilet drain! Or was that on purpose? The world may never know...
S'funny, we used to stay away from the 71 and 72 bikes like the plague. Transition years, with all the worst features of the OIF models and only a few of the great features of the 60s bikes. Triumph engineers rqally messed things ip for a couple of years before they got their metaphorical s--t together for the later 750s. When it cam to the 71 amd 72 bikes, you couldnt hardley give them away in the 80s. Yet now they are becoming just as popular. Time will do that, it seems....
I was bought up in England I was 16 in 1980, no one was interested in English bikes when I was young everyone wanted Japanese stuff. No old British bikes are becoming popular to people as it is seen as nostalgia.
People who haven't seen Brittown are in for a real treat, great people, great music and 1 of the best British makes ever.
Folks in SoCal are so fortunate to have that great year long weather and all those historic tracks around open for all. Greetings from Canada......burrr
I freakin’ agree! Brrr from the UK! 🥶
No doubt!
Having lived in San Diego it's not really year round good good weather. Jan to March can be pretty cold, believe me I know from riding experience.
Well done, brilliant music, great bikes good people👍🇬🇧

I've been to the Doll Hut many X . My daughter' band played there several X. THey loved her and kept inviting her back. Good times!

So, move here and join us. The diversity of the people in America is great.
These dudes still rocking it. We drastically need a sequel.
I agree, hard to believe this was made over 10 years ago

Well done. I love the bikes and the music but my favorite part of it all is the friendships and good times shared. Wonderful.

Great looking bikes , Triumph have a look all of their own !
I don’t like these bikes. But I love that this guy loves these bikes. And I love this documentary. Reminds me of freedom
Great video and it reminds me of the 60s here in the UK. Actually brought a Bonnie in 1969 £309. Great modification on the clutch.
A great movie!

Nice film, love the classic Triumphs

Wow❤ was just browsing and came across this gem , very well done , thanks from a 63 yr old band motorcycle guy here in beautiful Butte MT.😊
great movie with passionate people
Really loved the flow of the production and the vibe. Everyone real and sincere. Watching from wet and windy Ireland. The camera work and the bike work. All connected. Respect.
Passion brings people together great film.
British bikes rule! You are so lucky to live in SoCal. The midwest just sucks for motorcycles.
respect from england, wish i lived out there...
Dave Degen was a successful Triumph racer. He put his success down to decent quality, half weight, as in spring pressure, valve springs 😎
Dave Degan was famous and built Tritons 😂 norton featherbed frames with triumph T120 650 motors. Some liked the old pre unit 650 with magneto ignition but others liked twin carb alloy head 650 motors.
Great video, I really enjoyed watching. Thanks for sharing. Reminded me of like the Then Came Bronson tv series.
i've been chasing that smell since 1966. and i remember playing that first reel, too. oooh, and there's a K series harley!
Fantastic! Just watched from Annapolis MD. 🔥💣🔥💣

I love wrenching on my Triumphs. '76 T140, '70 TR25, '55 T110.....Lots of oil on my garage floor.

I haven't heard the term "lipstand" in a long time, I had it perfected!
The weather! Man! Freezing my arse off up here.

Hell yeah, THANKS.
イギリスにこんな砂漠地帯が在るのが意外だった。

Hello hi good morning friend God bless you ur family.
I'm John from Pakistan Karachi

Fantastic. How did you guys get the spare parts? Please advise.
Wow…!!!
Yikes....putting an engine together DRY and using an eight dollar pointer torque with the motor loose on the bench..... no no's
Should you not use an assembly oil
R u going to that bike or keep it
I owned a Suzuki GS750 imported into the UK 🇬🇧 from Huntingdon Beach, the registered owner in the US 🇺🇲 was Gavin Donohoe Flynn if you're out there??

I heard Goose passed since the movie came out- can anyone confirm?

I think they are still that way. I wont touch them. I turn the frames into motor stands.

Dry fit, a bit strange to me. My trumpies are all well lubed on assembly. Great movie though
bsa gold star his want you want
Assembly lube is vital at least use some oil ,i can guarantee bearing damage when you assemble it dry like you just did good grief
glad nobody smoking tobacco
Nice, looks authentic, but come on a lot money and time spent for an image!
plz get full face helment
Fkn loozers
I lost interest hearing these burn outs drown on about nothing at all.
Enjoyed it all 👍👍👍👍👍
