Great setup, but crucially better results. The knee pad recommendation seems silly, but I totally get it! I’m usually shooting at 24fps 1/48 shutter speed so almost always need to have a variable ND on my lens when games are in daylight. The Neewer PS015 would be a great way to add a vmount battery to your rig. I’ve been using rails and a vmount plate with my FX30, it’s fine on a tripod, but way too bulky for being able to run around the field getting different angles.
Thank you! The V mount is a great idea and one I should look into. I can usually get away with replacing my batteries once or twice but that would come in handy for longer shoots/games.
I see you use the 70-300 tamron how is it with at 300mm being that the lens doesn’t have ibis? I have a zve1 & fx3 both bodies have ibis and I usually shoot 60fps. I’m looking for something lite
There is some shake but I've found the top handle set up works well for me. Again, there is some shake but it's not as bad as some other lenses I've used. It's definitely light and helpful when I'm shooting handheld.
Thanks for all you do for these young men!
My pleasure!
