My goodness! What a fantastic interview! Jane was candid when she needed to be, and dodged when She needed to. Very inspiring interview. Jane is certainly selling the Citi brand with class.

Mr. Rubenstein is a natural. I don't like his business practices but he is so natural in interviewing that you would think it is very easy thing to do and you would be wrong!

I’ve watched quite a few of David’s interviews now, it’s nice having someone from the industry interview his ‘fellows’. You can see that the speakers know they can’t BS him

i have learned a lot from the investing world just from his interviews, its a combination of having an elite profile of interviewees and david asking simple laymans question, not for him, but for the people to learn. He is like facilitating the bright minds to an average person. In interviews he is quite mellow but if you watch him in Milkens Global Conference, he is a killer when he answers question. The guy that made him billionaire shows up

David did a great job by asking the initial question repeatedly. His followers are not fearful newbies, so responding with the "Safe" narrative seemed unnecessarily evasive.

I like the approach of investing for a future emergency. I had never thought about it. The only thing to keep in mind would be to find an investment that is safe and easily liquidated . Do you have examples of these types of investment ?

To David and his team: Pls work on the sound quality (volume) of your videos. I literally have to put my loud speaker on my table to hear your conversations, video after video. Kindly look into this. And thank you so much for bringing us high quality conversations.

    How Human Nature Works
Human nature is the desire to receive, also called “desire to enjoy,” and it functions by receiving what is beneficial to itself and rejecting what is harmful. Everything in our lives is built upon this calculation where we first try to distance ourselves from harm, and then seek how to draw ourselves closer to what is beneficial.
Human nature also includes a multilayering of systems that work simultaneously on still, vegetative, animate and human levels. One of those systems is our bodily one, which operates involuntarily. If our bodies are healthy, then they know what is good for them and draw that goodness to themselves. After the bodily system, there is the emotional system, which also functions relatively according to instinct. From the emotional system, we move to the mind, and from the mind to the intellect, and so on. That is, we have systems over systems that concurrently work on receiving what is beneficial and rejecting what is harmful.
Such is human nature and the essence of our lives. Our every desire, thought and action operates according to the calculation, “How can we receive what is most beneficial to us and reject what is harmful?”
