Restoring an Antique Crate Opener

This awesome antique tool is one in a long line of 1920’s through the 1950’s “multi” tool for everyday use and especially for opening and closing wooden crates. Before cardboard, wooden crates were the norm and every shop had one of these.
This restoration took me about 3 hours start to finish, with a day of soaking in #evaporust and I let the 5 minute epoxy set over night because it never sets truly in 5 minutes.
