- The Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort is located just North of the Hotel Zone in Cancun Mexico. It is a newer hotel surrounding mostly by Jungle, so you get a bit more privacy than the typical Cancun Hotel Zone resorts. It is and extremely large Resort with many amenities. It is directly across from Isla Mujeres which you can see from the beach.
It has direct access to the beach and also includes the Zentropia Spa & Wellness center. The Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort also has a separate Hotel called the TRS Coral Hotel included within its boundaries. The TRS is an Adults Only section of the hotel with its own pool and some restaurants. TRS guests get full use of TRS and Grand Palladium. There is also another section called Family Selection. Family Selection is a club created specifically for families with children. They have their own lounge with breakfast, snacks, tea time and a premium bar. They also have their own pool and offer many other services to families. Family Selection guest also have full access to Grand Palladium but not the TRS Coral Hotel.
The hotel also features a kids club. They have different clubs for different aged children. Out 10 year old daughter loved it and spent an entire day there.
There is a Village Mall with shopping, bars and restaurants. All restaurants in Grand Palladium are included in your stay with the exception of the the Chic Cabaret Restaurant and Show. It looks pretty amazing from the preview they have prior to the show starting, but kids are not allowed to attend.
Overall we were extremely satisfied with the resort and our stay. We enjoyed the pools, restaurants and the nightlife. Most the staff was extremely friendly. A special shout out to "Anna" the server at the Beach Pool! She made our experience even better!

@@bysuave6737 Yes, those are all included in the price of your stay. You just need to make reservations immediately after check-in to guarantee a table. You can order multiple entrees if you want too.
Is there a Zip lining excursion close or available?

One question - the layout (aerial) of the facility suggests that it is quite a long walk from the hotel rooms to the beach. Is that an accurate observation or is it quite easy to go to the beach? Thanks!

I don’t recall if pizza was on the menu, but burgers and chicken nuggets were. Kids menu was available at all restaurants. I have seen it posted online too, so you my try a google search for it too.

Hi! I enjoyed this video very much and I’ve decided to go to Grand Paladin in a few weeks. I’m arriving there quite late so I was wondering if that time is still ok for making reservations? Many people recommend reserving upon checkin, but some hotels only have certain times to reserve so I was mainly concerned about that.
I would just recommend making reservations as soon as you are able.

We never used the room service, but I think there may have been a slight charge for delivery, but not the food. You can bring drinks into your room and they refill your fridge with drinks daily.

Yes, this is an all inclusive resort. The restaurants offer better wine if you pay for it. Otherwise you get the house wine which isn’t all that great.
How long did you have to wait on average for a golf cart or boat to come? Are they long waits?
Golf carts came around all the time. Boats were about 10 or 15 minutes.

Did you pay for all those restaurants or was that part of the all inclusive?
It is all part of the all inclusive. Just know that they do require reservations. Make your reservations for each day as soon as you check in. Don’t wait or they may fill up.
I Loved The Review Very Detailed. Is There A Club For Dancing On The Resort?
Not exactly. However the audience is invited up to the front of the theater after the shows to dance!
Thinking of a wedding here. Do you think it's a FUN, great entertainment vibe for a big wedding group to party? I have no concerns about actual wedding night but a little worried about our crew having a good party time here?
I think so. The church there is gorgeous and they had a really nice area set up for the reception. Plenty of entertainment each night and lots of cool places to hang out and party.

You can visit the Nadal Tennis Center for free, but you have to pay to use courts. Kids Clubs are open and are great! Didn’t stay in Family Selection so I can’t speak to the value of it. We checked in around 11 and you have to check out by noon.

@@trediddy97 No, we just checked in and went to our room shortly after. I would assume that if your room wasn't ready you could hang out in the bar or grab something to eat while waiting.

I would say about 20 minutes by car.

Not at all. Just grab a seat where you want.
Do you have to pay extra to play tennis at the nadal tennis centre?
Not 100% sure. If you want instruction you definitely have to pay, but not sure if you jist want to use a court.

A group shuttle is included, but you can pay extra to upgrade to a private shuttle.
Hello I noticed you went to iberostar selection maya as well. Which would you recommend? This resort or Iberostar? Thank you very much!
Good question. Both are very different. Iberostar was several different resorts in one. We had a great time there as well. Depends on what you are looking for. You had to walk a bit farther to get to the beach at Iberostar as the rooms are located in the jungle. Many rooms at Grand Palladium have ocean views. The pool at Iberostar was much larger and better in my opinion. Beach was more accessible at Palladium. Rooms are better at Palladium as well as it is newer. There are no Cuati’s at GP but lots at Iberostar. That was my daughters favorite thing. You really can’t go wrong in either place.

How long is the ride from the airport to the hotel?
I would plan on about 40 minutes.
What is the difference between Grand Palladium vs TRS? Can you go to the TRS pool? Any restaurants blocked off for just TRS?
TRS is Adults only section of the hotel. They have their own pool and some restaurants.
The Poisedon buffet, is it for club member only ? Or is it for everyone ?
That is in the Spa. Anyone going to the spa can use it.
Poseidon is near the beach, not the spa. It’s accessible for all guests.
Is this a a place to go with a 8 month old baby? we are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the beach. We are not into loud music all day/night or big crowds. We are planning on going in September.
Also, how easy or difficult was it to make reservations for the a la carte restaurants? do we need to do that when checking in or what's the process?

Airport transportation - how smooth did that go? is it a bus? shuttle?
There are no nightclubs here and the rooms are far from the entertainment and restaurant area. We reserved a la carte restaurants when we arrived with no issues. We had one lined up every night. Beer selection was limited to like Dos Equis or something like that from what I remember. Mixed drinks are endless selection. There is a bar at the beach. We enjoyed the food. We liked all the restaurants we tried. Portifino portions were a bit small, so I ordered two entrees. We tipped just a buck or two. Anything you give is appreciated. We didn’t use room service, but I did hear there was a small fee for it. As long as you pre-arrange transport, no issues with transportation. Very easy. As far as 8 month old, I can’t speak to that and I would doubt the kids club would take someone that young. As long as your are watching them, I don’t think there is much you couldn’t do.
Do u think it's possible to ride a longboard around the outside of the hotel?
If you are talking about the waterways for the electric boats, I would say no.

Yes and it is one in the same. The sports bar is open all day and has food.

Not that I was aware of. I don't think I knew about it if I did.

No, you can order as many as you can eat. I ordered 2 steaks at the steak restaurant.

Anyone can use the beach pool. My favorite by far! You can make a dinner reservation for every night and you can order multiple entrees if you want.
Can you please explain how the reservations for the dinners work? book the whole week at once or just daily?
My advice is to book your full week of dinners all at once upon check-in. If you don’t they could fill up later in the week.

I believe the Restaurant Capricho is the main buffet for TRS. However, I believe TRS guests can eat at any GP restaurant.
Is there a nightclub on the resort or a disco?
There isn’t exactly. Lots of different places to drink and an adult themed show as well as family entertainment. They have dancing in the theater after the big show.
Some of my business partners are here rn courtesy of ACN. All expenses paid. Will be on the next paid trip

Was the shuttle free or did you have to pay ?
If you use a shared shuttle with other people it is free, but we paid an extra $60 or so for a solo shuttle so we didn’t have to wait for other passengers and could get to the hotel right away.

Would you recommend this resort for 2 year old and do they pool/ waterpark?
I would as they have a nice waterpark for small children that I didn’t have video of. I am not sure if the kids club accepts children that young, but I would suggest looking into it.

@@terrancegeorge3396 We also stayed at Iberostar which was great. The biggest issue you will have is whether kids clubs will be open for children of that age due to Covid. Not sure how they are handling now.

Yes there is!
How is the food?
We enjoyed it. Some better than others, but overall, if you eat at the restaurants that require reservations, you should find something you like.

Is the resort toddler friendly?
Definitely. I didn’t film it, but they have a waterpark area for the smaller kids. The kids club is also fantastic! I couldn’t get my daughter to leave it!

Yes!
Do you have to pay in zentropia?
Yes and no. If you do the Palladium Club tour you will get 2 30 minute massages for free which will give you full access to the spa pools and amenities. If you don’t do the tour, you have to pay for some service to get access to the spa.
@@Photasma How long is the Palldadium Club tour? Is it worth doing for the spa access? How long do you recommend going to the spa for?
@@zRaViHD I think they say an hour, but it lasted longer. I would say it was worth it to get into the spa. We could have stayed all day in the spa, but we had a 10 year old with us and while she was fine in the kids club, we didn't want to leave her there all day.

No, very convenient. You can walk or take a boat. Whatever is quickest for you.

Does the Grqnd Palladium has night club?
Not per-say. They have nightly entertainment in the theater and sports bar is open till midnight and Eclipse Bar till 2am. Lobby bar is open late too. They have the Chic review every night but that costs extra. They do a free pre-show in front of the coffee shop outside, so definitely check that out.
s there any beach volleyball court there?
Yes , they had one near the beach!
