Bucs-Saints brawl gave Sean Payton a case of FOMO, talks Broncos, Browns & Cowboys | NFL | THE HERD

  • After going 4-0 against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the New Orleans Saints fell in Week 2, and a massive brawl broke out between players in the 4th quarter. Former Saints coach Sean Payton joins Colin Cowherd on The Herd to not only share his thoughts on the chaos, but explain why this match up was the first time he truly missed being among the coaches on the sidelines. Payton also talks to Colin about Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos, who haven't quite gotten the hang of their offense. He says a similar thing is happening for Baker Mayfield and the Carolina Panthers, who have fallen to 0-2 after losing to the New York Giants.

    Its a big difference for a real coach compare to a sports commentator or analyst and it shows a lot on this segment with Herd.

    • @harrymills2770
      @harrymills2770 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Maybe there should be more coaches in the booth at games. With the exception of Al Michaels, who's getting up there in years, the play-by-play guys all seem to be more interested in stories about everything except the game right in front of them.
      Actual coaches rarely do the play-by-play. They always use ex players and coaches for the color commentary. If they could clone Tony Romo, they could just get rid of Jim Nantz, entirely.
