I have never seen or ate such a special Potato Knish than the knishes at Fred and Murry's Kosher Delicatessen and Caterers in Freehold! This Kosher Deli has been serving so many loyal customers for over 20 years in Freehold but their roots go back to 1960 on Ralph Ave in Brooklyn. Kurt the Owner worked for many years with Fred and Murry Chalnick at this location and their same recipes are used to this day. Do you know that special smell when you walk into a Kosher Delicatessen? Well you will experience that the minute you open up the door!
Fred & Murry's has been Strongly Recommended by Johnny C. I know my Kosher Deli's too as my first job at 12 years old was standing in front of David's Delicatessen in West Caldwell on Passaic Ave as a Hot Dog waving patrons in as my Mother worked hard as a Waitress inside. It was real hot in the hot dog costume!
