Along with the fact that Mons like Smoliv in this situation would look inferior to the LeChonk Mons they would look out of place it's just not feasibly possible for them to do it in the main series game. This game is made by Bandai Namco with 21 main roster and 30 support characters the main ones that need the work is the 21 main roster only tiny amount needs to go into the 30 support given the amount of time they're in play. That's not that much considering most was done in the Wii U release so all they had to do is add to it and it's a fighting game thats Bandai Namco's stomping grounds.

Same for the legs. Because Blastoise, as a LOT of Gen 1 Pokémon, looks like it wasn't really drawn with animation in mind, especially a walk cicle, but rather to look cool in a static pose.
It makes you wonder, how much longer it would take to roll out a main series game if the level of individual animations were on par with this, even with scrapping the national dex.

So they would not necessarily grow their sales just by improving graphics for the small but vocal subset that do care about it.

I enjoy how Blastoise seemingly glides towards an opponent and infuses it's gauntlets with a pulse move to power up it's punches, then proceeds to anchor with Ice Beam before letting it rip with seemingly Hydro Cannon.
While it isn't perfect the way they try so hard to not let the fact his turtle arms can't reach and still make expressive hand gestures is very nice. They didn't let design limit their actions

Best gen 1 starter, can't change my mind. And as the best Kanto starter that is only available as DLC, of course it has to have the best animations for its movesets and poses, win or lose. My favorite animation is definitely the "Make it *Rain"* victory pose.
Bulbasaur supremacy. I always want a grass, fire, and water in my final team. For Fire, both Arcanine and Ninetails are super cool options. For water, stuff like Lapras, Starmie, Vaporeon, etc. are all super solid choices. Then in Gen 1 the grass types other than Venusaur are all lame as hell. Vileplume and Victreebell suck and Exeggutor may be pretty good but it's design isn't that cool. And that's all just aesthetics. Bulba slaughters the first coupla gyms and gets you ready to smash the rest of the game.

Grass-types are easier to train, thus grow fast. So it's natural that any player that chooses Bulbasaur will have an early lead compared to the other two starters. I went with the water turtle. 💧🐢

Holy damn Blastoise’s super is absolutely a top 10 fighting game super for me. It’s cinematic, powerful and badass. The fact he keeps himself rooted by freezing himself to the ground with ice beam so he can unleash the most powerful hydro cannon he can is the thing that sells it for me.
This is what I imagined next gen pokemon to look like, sadly I think we'll never reach this level of individuality within the animations in a main series game
Good thing I gave up the main series pokemon games. It's literally just a bunch of static mons taking turns throwing/taking hits at each other. Lol, like... Can't they move instead of just mindlessly waiting to be attacked? Pokken Tournament is how a REAL pokemon battle irl would look like. For an adventure experience, the main series games are where they excel. Not so much in the way of pokemon battling unfortunately. Unless they incorporate a way where every pokemon battle is triggered/intiated to a fighting stage where players can control pokemon as if it were a fighting game such as Pokken when encountering trainers in the overworld.
False, its cuz there was only 21 mons with closed in stages with movements *unique* to every mon while the main games have over 400 at minimum and need to make the region, place the mons on parts of the map, program the behaviors of those, etc.

The game that has voiced acting and animated cutscenes. The game that give each digimon a 2d pixel Tamagotchi sprite because of the dot status condition. Edit: If Bandai Namco can have quality in their games I'm pretty sure that TPC/game freak SHOULD add the exact same quality, especially if they are cutting the dex.

As an Aegislash main I might be a little bit biased, but Aegislash is amazing in this game tier list wise. Animation wise, he's on par with the others. Bandai Namco did an amazing job bringing these Pokémon to life.

Why do all the trxtures in this game look weirdly dirty and overly metallic? I also have deep hatred for the pokemon cries. But the animations and fights look awesome.
They made the game have a more realistic style and had each character voice acted instead of using their original cries. I like the voices, especially Gengar, Gardevoir, and Weavile

Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God.
Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

Holy damn Blastoise’s super is absolutely a top 10 fighting game super for me. It’s cinematic, powerful and badass. The fact he keeps himself rooted by freezing himself to the ground with ice beam so he can unleash the most powerful hydro cannon he can is the thing that sells it for me.

Good thing I gave up the main series pokemon games. It's literally just a bunch of static mons taking turns throwing/taking hits at each other. Lol, like... Can't they move instead of just mindlessly waiting to be attacked? Pokken Tournament is how a REAL pokemon battle irl would look like. For an adventure experience, the main series games are where they excel. Not so much in the way of pokemon battling unfortunately. Unless they incorporate a way where every pokemon battle is triggered/intiated to a fighting stage where players can control pokemon as if it were a fighting game such as Pokken when encountering trainers in the overworld.

False, its cuz there was only 21 mons with closed in stages with movements *unique* to every mon while the main games have over 400 at minimum and need to make the region, place the mons on parts of the map, program the behaviors of those, etc.
@@skullerclawerbandicoot7966 you have a point, but all of these can be made better with time and labour. And gamefreak has both , they just choose to profit more, and make a less polished game. That is the trend with newer games, just do bare minimum and patch it later if fans say something.

This game came from the same company(bandai namco) that had the digimon cyber sleuth games made with 341 digimon and each one had a unique animated attack and up to 3 can follow your character.
The game that has voiced acting and animated cutscenes.
The game that give each digimon a 2d pixel Tamagotchi sprite because of the dot status condition.
Edit: If Bandai Namco can have quality in their games I'm pretty sure that TPC/game freak SHOULD add the exact same quality, especially if they are cutting the dex.

Cedric Strickland but bandi is also know for games like this so I wouldn’t have expected anything less from them. They know how to bring characters personality to the forefront.

As an Aegislash main I might be a little bit biased, but Aegislash is amazing in this game tier list wise. Animation wise, he's on par with the others. Bandai Namco did an amazing job bringing these Pokémon to life.

Why do all the trxtures in this game look weirdly dirty and overly metallic? I also have deep hatred for the pokemon cries. But the animations and fights look awesome.
Imo, I don’t see any problem with the texture nor the cries, they seem quite realistic
They made the game have a more realistic style and had each character voice acted instead of using their original cries. I like the voices, especially Gengar, Gardevoir, and Weavile
I like his shiny body and thick arms they just look badass.
