I do find it incredible how people manage to find drones (just like that) at the end of steps. It makes us watch their videos which is how Restoration VR makes his money from TH-cam.
Most likely they put it there (very carefully).
@@digitalartist779 Thats one explaination yes. Another one maybe is, that they found that drone earlier on (maybe even with the help of a drone), and so they only staged the ''finding'' in the video, but not the drone itself.
Sure i cant say for sure - maybe they even placed that drone on purpose there.
Nevertheless, its still better than those channels with animals, where they bring an animal to near death, then place it under a car, etc - and then act like they found that cat/dog, and save him to get a lot of views, patreon-money, and compliments 'what a good people they are'' ...
Here at least no living creature is harmed for the footage.

@@digitalartist779 As far i saw in the video, that was actually the first thing they replaced at minute 13:00. And ironically you would think that this is now realistic, because they replaced the battery, after they measured no voltage.
But the opposite is the case: there is literally no reason to replace the battery, when there is no voltage in it. Just simply recharge it.
Because for your question ''how do batteries work after they are in water for so long''. As you can see at 13:00 , the batteries are quiet good sealed (as rechargable batteries are in general).
So to be honest:
the fact that they replaced the battery just because it showed no voltage, is the biggest teller, that it was stage.
It would be much more realistic, if they in fact didnt replaced the battery (but ironically, it would be exactly then when viewers (you) would think: its staged ... so they replaced the battery at 13:10)

It's a type of ground full of iron, which gives it a red colour. It is waterproof so you can build a fish pond on it.

ese drones are on sale for dirt cheap in Aliexpress and Banggood. They just flew it really ruggedly, broke the drone and then left it for rot in that ditch, only to pick it up later for the video.
But apart from that, the repairs do seem genuine, especially the one where they fix the flight control board
op man what an idea first buy drone then damge it and then throw somewhere in the nearby area and do acting of search by making video and then being proffessional in resasembling it then upload in yt u got the content for making a video on yt and bget good views and get paid and cycle goes on

im trying to restore a recovered drone from a lake as well, except it will actually be real and not set up, in reality, the one given to me was still white, and had redish colored stuff inside, some green speckles, DARK brown stuff, and black spots, a lot of it comes off with scrubbing, but its going to have stains, and some cracking may acure, the entire drone was now coated in crap, and there are rust streaks from screws on the plastic, a drone looking this bad might happen in different conditions perhaps, but what convinced me that this is a set up, is that the boards still work, and had no rust or tarnish anywhere on them (they all contain some steel wire and connections in them, and contain metal that WILL tarnish to a dark gray or black in corrosive conditions), also when underwater, shorts are likely to happen in a very short time, or even instant, and this would damage the board beyond repair.
brushless motors are actually pretty resilient, the ones on mine look like trash but still work, think if i throw in a new motherboard ill have a working drone.
Тоесть вас не смутило что камеру он вообще не проверял, все шлейфы с коннекторами давно развалились бы в труху, если по факту пытаться восстановить такой дрон то кроме пластика от старого там ничего не будет, двигатели по любому вышли из строя, плата от акб получит короткое замыкание не по двум элементам, а камера после воды вообще без проверки должна быть утилизирована)
very true, it depends on type of motor though, but yeah, the one im working with will need a new camera (expensive) and a new motherboard (oddly cheap for this model), im not going to even risk damaging a battery by trying to test the old board.@@karzinawazelina7630

@@OlegKovalyov посмотри внимательней в конце мужик с пультом в кадр попадает , а телефон сдесь нужен для записи видео с fpv камеры на дроне которая как раз по wi-fi работает

В чем проблема купить пульт от такого же дрона и сделать сопряжение с ним? Работает на всех, кроме наверное самых дешманских. А есть вообще навороченные универсальные пульты.
