- Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach react to winning ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and also talk future plans in this new interview with ‘Extra’s’ Cheslie Kryst. The season finale of ‘DWTS’ aired Nov. 22 on ABC.

Okay I'm sold. He deserved this. Everyone talks about how Jojo created history for so many people but so did he! He is showing so many young boys who look up to him that they can express themselves in other ways! This is just so sweet.
I completely agree! There was even an episode when he thanked his parents for encouraging him to be more than an athlete! And that is such an important message for young men and especially BLACK young men!

Jojo was so good, but she had that dance experience. Iman didn’t and the fact that dani can help make this happen for Iman, EVEN with the height difference is amazing. This season has been such a good season, and I’m so happy with how it ended!

@@anniebanana3698 i didn't know who he was before dwts- i went back and rewatched all of his dance packages and i am a fan now! what a humble guy. they had the most challenges out of everybody and never complained once

NO dance experience, but grew each week. Daniella is a visionary, and the trust and bond they created to bring us all of that amazing art💖💖💖
LIES! There was never a "no dance experience" rule in DWTS, a matter of fact season 1 and 2 winners were by experienced dancers, model Kelly Monaco (winner season 1) and singer and dancer Drew Lachey (winner season 2) from the boy band 98 Degrees. SO PLEASE STOP THE LIES just to excuse that Jojo was clearly robbed. BTW no disrespect to Iman that did a great job.

I couldn't agree more... I heard "Jojo and Jenna should have won" and my response is, "Iman learned how to dance, Jojo already knew how to dance"... Iman and Daniella brought something new to DWTS, something never seen before... Iman and Daniella definitely deserved to win!

OMG I just love him .. his whole demeanor within the entire competition was absolutely phenomenal .. he made dancing look so much fun and transformed into the little kid having fun .. his smile with every dance was incredible .. his dance partner is so talented .. the trust she had with him on those acrobatics made everything flow with ready .. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I had no clue who this guy was before DWTS but he was a favorite of mine right from the start. I know alot of ppl were rooting for Jojo bit at the end of the day she is a trained dancer. Iman had no dance training what so ever. He killed it. This aas the most deserved win on DWTS in quite some time. Usually it ends up being a popularity contest and the winner is always well known. Also Daniella deserved the win as well. This was her 2nd season as a pro dancer. They both did AH-MAZING

Cody had prior dancing? I think he must have forgotten a lot of what he learned. I can't believe he made it to the finale above some of the other contestants. Is his Pelaton audience that big, because I had never heard of him before. Also, as a gay man saying this, I hate, HATED his freestyle. I was embarrassed!
@@kev7161 Surprisingly, yes. ( I've often wondered just how accurate the voting is for some dancers.) ...Cody is a former professional dancer & doesn't dance like it; interesting how they kept that part of his life quiet.

I remembered when they had to do the contemporary dance Iman asked her what’s that? That’s when I fell in love with him. They nailed the contemporary dance! So glad they won!

Iman is THE man. The audience fell in love with his beautiful soul. I only wish Teyana had done a special guest appearance and danced with him and Dani in a performance, they would've broken the internet for sure.

I was only planning on watching DWTS for Disney week but ended up watching the rest of the season for them they were my favorites by far he just always looked so happy and had this passion in his eyes and Dani is amazing and has this beautiful elegance about herself they truly deserved the win 🏆 he showed the most improvement and passion and she really showcased her talents by choreographing such amazing dances

So well deserved. Instead of adding JoJo to the pro team, they added her to the other team. She's been a dancer since she was really young. I saw her on Dance Moms/Abby Lee Miller Dance School. She was an incredible dancer back then.

I liked him more and more each week. I'm glad it was a close 1st and 2nd place because both danced their butts off, but his personality was just a little more . . . something. Plus, he obviously appealed to a lot of different viewing groups.

I was jumping up and down in my bedroom last night when they said that he and Daniella won. He definitely deserved it and was one of my favorite dancers. Daniella brought him out of his shell week after week and they had chemistry together. I did not want Jojo to win, that's for sure. She used her sexuality way to much to get the judges votes and it was not fair to the other contestants. If she were dancing with a guy, she would of been treated just like the rest of them. Look at Cody, he was gay but danced with a girl and he got no special treatment so Jojo shouldn't have either just because she was dancing with Jenna. They were giving her perfect scores when everyone else danced just as good if not better than her. The judges were looking at two women having a sexual chemistry, not looking at them as dance partners. Jojo should have been eliminated weeks ago for poor performances.
I have to agree with you a bit. I mean I don’t disagree with the scores she got just because she did get better each week and she is really talented but I do feel like you said she got special treatment because of it. I’m happy Cody got to the finals without the special treatment.
