Coming from watching all those "fake" ghost youtubers, it is really awesome seeing how you approach these situations. You actually test all of your equipment (literally deconstructing it to prove its just a motion sensor), show the exact product that you purchased (maglights from amazon) and try to disprove the activity on the devices when it happens. It's so funny how you were hanging on that cliff-side with Airrack now all of the sudden you are honestly one of if not the most credible "ghost youtuber". Hats off Tyler! 7:00 Friendly reminder that in science, you try to prove yourself wrong, not right. If you want to believe that ghosts to be real, you're gonna have to try to figure out everything that could explain what you observed first and when you completely run out of ideas, only then can you begin to think that perhaps you're onto something (supernatural). The problem is that nobody ever does it like this.
Absolutely. I really liked that they did actually seem to try to disprove some of it. Of course there will always be bias in any video like this, I hope in the future they put people in a haunted house and tell them its a totally normal house, just see if anything happens. That would be a more unbiased way to test the supernatural.
A few things they didn't do but should have were:
1) Test air currents to see if that can set off the motion detector.
2) Block the detector completely and see if it still goes off at their requests
Edit: 3) Use multiple motion detectors to test which ones do and don't go off and if there's a pattern or simply randomness
Something that irks me is that "investigators" never ask ghosts what they're made of or by what mechanisms do they interact.
BINGO! Our team was constantly called in for consultation on many of the TV "paranormal" shows. Once we proved them all frauds, the networks wanted nothing to do with putting us in front of the cameras.

You have to look at it differently.
Science is the study of the world around us. It has no bearing on the supernatural- by which I mean that science never proves that anything doesn't exist, because it is the study of what DOES exist.
People who claim that the paranormal is disproven by science are completely unaware of what the capabilities of science are in the first place.
And by all means check for other explanations, but as a guy who grew up in a house that is haunted, just know that there are some things with no physical explanation, and once you live around them there is no denying it

He has funding from Arizona (I don't remember which university) to conduct this research as the head of the department and his research was so compelling he received a huge donation from a wealthy deceased man as part of his estate and his js family's wishes to fund his research. Dr. David Schwartz I believe is his name and everything he does is all engineering and scientific based while working on his device to communicate with the other side. @@stevendalloesingh1214 Empty graveyard which surrounds a massive church, old as hell. Me and my friends decided to do a dare, everyone has to go around the the entire graveyard alone. I was first, I only made it a quarter way until I had to run back when I heard a loud ass bang right next to me (The church was being renovated and was surrounded by metal sheets). And with that there was a feint giggle from where the bang came from. Cool experience (I came back home smelly with doo doo in my pantaloon)

I don’t know if people consciousnesses are able to exist after death getting access to a new dimension or not. But according to math, there are more than 10 dimensions. at 8:30 in the vid when you guys were getting responses from the motion detector it may have been from the mirror in the background picking up your movement in the mirror but other than that this was a great demonstration of equipment usage, you guys would fit in perfect with my old group seek the truth paranormal
Doesn't the motion sensor use ultrasound? Idk if sound and light behave the same way when it comes in contact with a reflective surface. Additionally, Sound bounces off everything but im not sure if the *extra smooth surface* of the mirror has something to do with it. Also some mirrors are curved to make the subject apper closer and furthur.
*The PMB sends out an ultrasound puls which will bounce off any thing, seen or unseen. One calibrates it to bounce back from a fixed surface (up to 16 feet /5m away) like a wall or piece of furniture for instance. If anything, seen or unseen, interrupts the ultrasound and makes the bouncing distance deviate from the calibrated bounce distance (of the wall or furniture for instance), then the light goes on and the PMB starts playing its creepy sounding music box for as long as something is making the ultrasound bounce back from a distance closer than the calibrated bounce distance.*

Sam and Colby are literally the opposite of what you just said. They exaggerate everything, and manipulate stories to match their findings. Their spirit box could say McDonald’s, and they’d be like ‘omg guys our ghost is a woman, and remember she had a kid, and probably use to take that kid to McDonald’s this is crazy, she’s communicating with us.’ And twist to fit their description of their story.

When you wake up to either a demon standing by your bed watching you sleep, running at you when you tell it to leave, scratching your bed post, or playing with your hair while standing over you, it definitely causes you to believe in ghosts. Growing up in a haunted house was crazy.

I've heard my own name whispered to me right in my ear as I awoke for a week straight. Still have no clue if that is me simply hearing voices in static noise (normal thing that I hear a lot) OR if it was supernatural. I recently moved to this house and have never truly felt in danger or like there is anything supernatural. I still to this day have no clue what that was. The weirdest part is that I haven't really experienced anything strange since then.

I don't believe in ghosts, so you are likely dealing with a demon, which seem to vary in their level of violence/ evilness. This does bring up a good point. In these ghosts hunter shows, they show people freaking out because their sensors are going off but they never show a non-haunted control where nothing is happening. If you wanted to be more scientific, then the people telling the backstory shouldn't know if the house is really haunted either. Also, this worked suspiciously well for you. You can see the ghost in all the haunted house scenes. It's obvious, notice how dusty it seems....that's the spirit and it's real clear in the end scene when there is that glowing orb you might think was a lens flare
the house is old. that's literally why there's so much dust.

I really want to see someone dissect these apps ghost hunters use which produce random words, and prove there isn’t a means for a ghost to somehow “use energy” to make an iPhone app produce an accurate word/phrase that it intended to convey. Cause all these ghost channels use these apps and yet, no one questions “how would a ghost somehow activate a phone app and get it to use words that mean something?”

What made me believe in ghosts is this..... I worked the night shift at a nursing home in 2011 as one of my first jobs.

i know why the motion sensors went off: the 1st room, the sensor was pointed at the bottles that could reflect people like mirrors, 2nd room, it was pointed at a mirror and tyler was standing behind the sensor which means the sensor saw him through the mirror
It’s not the change in light that sets it off, so it couldn’t be the reflection. On the website it says it work with ultrasound, I’m not exactly sure how though

im a full believer but when the music box went off.. you can see an absurd amount of dust flying around and i know that sets the music box off. I did see the dust in the non haunted house as well, was just an observation.
Interesting that the most haunted houses are always the dustiest, oldest, with floors, windows, doors, and surfaces that creak (make noises).....

Not convinced about the music boxes, they were all facing open space, rather than say a wall, and conveniently placed so the camera wouldn't show if someone was hiding (off view) and triggering them. With the one in the big room, the cameraman would even turn away each time it was triggered so we wouldn't see in front of it.

A thing I noticed in some other ghost channels is that they blast loud music to tense the viewer
might be fake, at 7:36 look at the second from the right guy, he's probably looking at someone moving Infront of the sensor out of frame, and at no point did they clearly show what was entirely Infront of the sensor while it was going off
