Where there were rolling dunes and wasteland, there's now a collection of rolling verdant fairways, deep bunkers, wispy rough and inviting, sloping greens with their traditional heartbreaking run-offs.

Love Kyle Phillips designs. Have played Dundonald lots which if you are nasty is a poor man's Kingsbarns but in my book certainly holds it's own. One of the more fun courses you can play up in Scotland even though the views obviously cannot compare to KB..

Yes a tough golf course and with the slope system coming to the UK I'm sure you would at least gain a couple of shots on this course. I live in Spain and at my home course I have to play off 7 and my handicap is 10 but you gain shots on a course that is classified tough. I have to say I'm not a lover of this system but it is more of a leveler than the currant system looking forward to your next video.

Rory Are the finishing holes from 15 to 18th the hardest you’ve ever played on? As an Ex member , can say it was pure torture , usually into wind and a scorecard killer. Loved it and deserves to be one of the best in the world.
They defo are off the tips bruh. Hardest finishing stretch I've ever played? Royal Cinque Ports for sure...basically the entire back 9 plays into the wind (proper links course so wind can be brutal) and some holes are like 500 yard par 4s off the backs. 😮
Rory. I haven't been watching this for your golf since the second hole in Part 1. LOL. We've all been there. Regarding handicap and your points. Down Under the new World Handicap system came in to effect on the 30/1/20. I gained a shot under it but lost a shot off it at my home course because it's slope rating changed. Basically no change at all. Do you have the same new system in the UK, Have you checked your 'new' handicap? and what was the slope rating and subsequent handicap off the blues? Just calculated my handicap if playing there and it would be 2 better then my base.
No idea re the new handicap system bruh. Need to drag my a**** down to my home club and play in a tournament soon! Course has been closed a fair bit recently though...UK winter kinda stuff.

Rory have you compared your handicap under the new world handicap system as I would have thought you would get at least an extra two shots on such a tough course?
Not up to speed on that system yet Brian I have to admit. Will wrap my head around it soon enough I'd imagine.

Great course! I want you to play well but if you don't it's fine..It makes me feel better than I'm not the only one that struggles. People that don't rake bunkers, replace divots or fix pitch marks should be fined :)
They should be rounded up and thrown into the sea haha. Horrible people.

They need a talking too. Raking bunkers is a pain in the hole, but c'mon...let's have some respect for eachother hey? Reflects poorly on the course and that's totally not fair! 😡
