Jónsi - Hrafntinna (Obsidian)

This installation in the Art Gallery of Ontario was... remarkable. It was so immersive and hypnotic; it really did feel as if you were inside of a volcano. I highly recommend coming in person for the full experience.
The way this installation is set up is that there are 195 speakers in a circle, as well as a circular bench with subwoofers underneath it, so there was a lot of vibrating going on. Above me was a light (the one the camera is pointed at) to represent the summit, and the scent of fossilized amber was in the room. Again, it's better to see this in person for full effect.
