"Count Choculitis is the most underrated song on the record" Good that I'm not the only one who thinks that :) . That song is probably my 3rd favourite in the album after Puppets and Scissorhands, and it was my favourite when I first heard Creatures a few years back. I can't wait to hear it live! Also, thanks for getting me into Bleeding Through!
Abigail has a special place in my heart because when I first saw MIW live this was their opening song and Kylie (ghosts girlfriend) came out swinging around a noose, walked out to the crowd, and put it around me. I still have it to this very day and it's the best memory ever 🖤
The random fact the only reason i remember it came out in 09 was that i was working in a Blockbuster video in the south of England an Jude Law came into the store and asked me working there what film would i recommend an i said not Sherlock holmes jokingly and he was like oh you know who i am then. Of course, i did as i worked in a film shop but he was really nice asked me what i thought about the film took a picture and he bought something a left nice guy tho.
My son was listening to Motionless in White one day and i asked him who they were and he told me and ever since then i've been a huge fan,we were so lucky to go see them live a few years ago which was one of the best live shows that i've ever experienced.
"Ive always wanted to be a vampire"..... every time i listen to Chris I realise we would have been great friends if our paths ever had to cross- we just love the same things.....maybe in another life💜
Can’t wait to hear the dead stream! Can’t believe it’s been 10 years - I was in middle school when creatures was released! Ill actually be in PA with my husband for our 2nd wedding anniversary (halloween) - we’ll be nearby! 💀🖤
Anyone notice how he starts rocking back and forth when talking about puppets and from then on stutters and starts giving off an uncomfortable stare? Kinda shows how hard the subject of past relationships is to him...
I cant even imagine breaking down my poetry or music for people who don't know me. Bless him for sharing his soul with us. Let's you know he really writes from what deals with.
I remember my brother introducing me to MIW in 2010, and the exact sentence he used: “They have a song about The Lost Boys!” I fell in love instantly, and now, ten years later, I’ve seen them three times, met the band twice, my oldest band tee is the first MIW shirt I ever bought, two of my most prized possessions are one of Ryan’s picks and a setlist I caught at a show, and I was even planning a trip to Pennsylvania this year to get my Undead Ahead tattoo from Angelo. I love these guys so much, and I will continue to love and support them for as long as I live. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
At the time was barely becoming an It Dies Today fan. Have been listening ever since and MAN I missed out on how EXCITING of a feature that really was.
Count Choculitis and City Lights are my favorites from the album. I know City Lights is very personal to Chris, but I was hoping he would go a little more into detail about it since he finally came out and revealed the meaning behind Eternally Yours and Another Life (which he danced around for awhile).
I did not know he finally addressed the meaning behind another life and eternally Yours. Do you happen to know where he explained it? (platform i.e. article, youtube, Twitter, Instagram, ect) I've heard of MIW from friends before but put off listening to them and kinda forgot. Then one day TH-cam reccomend MIW- Eternally Yours music video. The thumbnail looked cool and I liked the song title. So I watched and loved it. I also was like "They have a female bassist, that's fucking awesome!" Next video recommended was 570, watched it loved but thought "The bassist is pretty but also a bit manly." Then going through a rabbit hole of watching every music video to figure out if the bassist Ghost, was Male or female...... not that it matters. Lol all while falling in love with every song and kicking myself in the ass for not listening to them sooner. Moral of the story....if a friend recommends a band or song, listen to it sooner than later because you never know what you could be missing out on for so long. I'm also saddened Ghost is no longer in the band but, completely understand his view on why he left.
Also he probably didn't go into great detail about city lights because he is over that song. I know he said in an interview that, it's the one song he hates playing now because he is moved on from what that song meant and the feeling of it. It doesn't reflect how he feels and the person he is now. I'm sure there is an article or interview from years ago where he explains it better in detail. If I happen to come across anything I'll make sure to add a link to it for you.
@@chelseasambrook9001 he goes into detail about the songs on his Instagram! Its the caption of the post where he announced miw’s motion picture collection for the 2 songs!
It's crazy that Bleeding Through is his favourite band of all time, and in just 2009, like 2-3 years after their band started, they go on tour with them?? That is insane and I am very happy for them all
Immaculate misconception The song that started it all for me, a good friend said hey I bet you'd like this band this song I did and ever since MIW been my favorite band
I've been a long time fan of MIW and all their subsequent works. But Creatures is just such a masterpiece of an album, still my all time favorite of theirs and easily in my top 5 ever.
Cobwebs is soooo underrated and my fav song by you guys. I wish more people would appreciate it more . But also I would like to see a new version of that song with the new members and mix and mastering.
My name is Abigail and I’m a huge fan of motionless in white but that song gave me chills cause everytime he said Abigail I keep thinking about my name meaning
Long live the destructive beautiful monster that is Motionless In White..so awesome discovering you guys live back in the day on the Metal Mayhem tour with Rob Zombie and I've been a fan ever since
For me “City Lights” is the moment where the only option is to live for something or die for nothing (suicide). Most people won’t admit it but in that moment where seconds become minutes & minutes become hours. ⛪️
I remember going to warped tour in 2011 and getting the album compilation and hearing Creatures for the first time. Since then I’ve enjoyed the hell out of this band and this album the most. Can’t wait to hear more!!
Man i fukin love creatures i remember i bought it at best buy not knowing anything about this band n i was super blown away not one bad song i had the album on repeat for like a year lol!!!!
Hearing how you put in Nick Brookes in from IDT was so amazing since that bad itself was huge for me in the early 2000s until I graduated in 06. So stoked with it.
We Only Come Out At Night and London In Terror have to be my 2 out of 3 favorites off the record. Cobwebs holds a special place in my heart because it’s exactly how I feel all the time and honestly I wish I didn’t 😂 I have to say Chris is so fucking adorable I love the way he talks please don’t judge me 😅

I never could get into their direction. After Creatures, but that album hits so hard even to today. Just introduced a coworker to Puppets and he lost it! 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
The fact that city lights was almost called Banana Montana gets me every time.
That's hilarious
Omfg im so happy it wasnt that. Lmfao im so dead though
That song was originally called banna Montana on their ep - when love met destruction
@@ammitproductions6690 WHY THOUGH. It's like making fun of one of their best songs.
It wasn’t.
Chris is the only person i will listen to for 15 minutes straight without skipping 10 sec every few minutes

My favorites on the album are .com pt 2, count choculitis, and scissorhands. I really wish they would make some more songs exactly like those 3
Yes. I listen to it at least 3 times every day lmao.
I felt Chris on another level when when he said he always wanted to be a vampire
