The nuts were a temporary thing that I forgot about for 5 years, lol. I have plans to clean up my janky wiring at some point.
But yes, Alice was the star of this video.
Yeah you learnt the valuable lesson about the C30 and how it has fits about powering LEDs, particularly ones with circuitry. I've done TheBelgian tail light mod and I thought it would be fun for track events to replace the fog light bulbs with ones that flash po-po style if you turn them on twice. Boy was that a nightmare. You would just about get them to work with the car switched off, but once you started the engine the polarity would reverse (!!!!!!) and even if you got them to light, as soon as you put them on flash it would kill them. Tried resistors and everything. Interestingly I think it disabled the opposite front sidelight to the rear tail light, and you could see this in VIDA as a status I think. Thing is very fussy.
Shame about the shunt, but that towing eye sure did a lot more painful damage to the Porsche. With the C30 it's just a battle scar!
btw your fogs remind me I need to open up those grilles and turn them into brake cooling ducts.
Good to see some new C30 content. Gets me pumped about the stuff coming for my C70. You shouldn't use those twist tie connectors. You should use the heatshrink crimp connectors.

I was missing my drivers side window motor and replaced it and my window still won’t work… so yes electrical issues suck😂
Hello fellow p1 driver. Im an owner of a 2.0d v50 that i've been taking care of it like its my sweet honey, but i can't help but complain every time i drive mine at night that the low beams are too low, and there are the hex studs that adjust the light heights, but when i turn them all they sound like is that the gear is slipping through and no turn. Would you have a solution to raise the low beams a little? (even if i tune it a bit too high, i can dial them down via dashboard.) Thanks, keep it up bud.

If it's slipping, something could be wrong and you may need to try to manually raise the projector beams by taking things apart.
