Don't be fooled guys. India tested a conventional missile traveling at hypersonic speed, not a true hypersonic missile that only China and Russia has that's capable of aerial maneuvers while in flight and can circle the globe.
India was testing short range missiles traveling at hypersonic speed 4 years ago. Real hypersonic missiles can travel into space & around the earth, not fly only short, medium or long range like those of India's hypersonic missiles.
Mach 1: speed of sound.
Mach 1.2-5: supersonic speed.
Mach 5 and above: hypersonic speed.
All India did was build a long range missile traveling faster than mach 5.
