Thanks. Im 45. Watched this, did my first ever drop in at my local park near London. Took me half an hour to build up to it, then just kept on doing them.
I was standing on top of the ramp wondering if I should do it while watching this video, I finally went up and down the 5ft quarter today after 2 years of thinking about it. Thank you
thank you so much. one of my biggest fears about ramps was always slipping on the steep part. for some reason no other drop-in videos seem to cover slipping and I always wondered how the hell other riders kept from slipping at such crazy angles to the ramp. your video gave me the confidence to drop in on my first five foot :)
I watched so many videos and after reading the comments It took me over 30 min to decide on the small ramp and when I went down the bike went down with me and I had to cancel work because I have my arm on ice at the moment and it hurts to move it. So I guess it's not for me 🤕 I have been riding BMX since I was 17 but thought it was dangerous. I am 33 now and I know I should just stick to riding it normally never trying ramps again😅
When i first dropped in i didnt know anything, i was on a mountain bike and when i droped in my pedals caught the ramp and i felt my rear tire lift of the ground

Could you imagine living at that house right next to the park!?
Ryan Williams comfermed
Ikr. I have to ride to my nearest skatepark for 20m
It doesnt look like a nice area tho its right next to a highway
I live right by one too
Idk where youre at dude, but if you can you should check out DIY park in KCMO, its a skatepark handmade by the locals. Its absolutely amazing.
Keep your pedals even as well! That was my problem and pedals kept clipping the rail
Good tip!
