Thanks, I been searching for this so many hours, TH-cam thought I'm searching for back focusing for some reason, and other videos saying general setting not showing where in the menu, you are a life Saviour, by the way I Have the 6D as well.
Yes... it is important not to cross 45° max.. because you need that depth of field and the exact focus point. Please use tripod, i didn't have one while making this video 😊
Prime will have only one bar. Which means, keep the apurture full open. Like f/2.8 (if that's the lowest) then focus a point from camera and shoot. If the result is slightly out of focus then adjust the bar in camera settings accordingly.

It's better to have a vertical surface- say a matchbox - next to the '20' in order to have a more robust autofocus.
Thanks for this useful tip. One question: At what angle do you keep the camera? Slightly inclined?
Thank you for watching :) angle should be between 25° to 35° from the point you'll be focusing... that serves the purpose better 👍🏼
Hey Ali, I know I'm looking at this late but is the angle from which you take the calibration important?

for 28 mm prime what would be the testing f to set
