Basically, I think its fo4 two reasons:
1. Musicality and I wouldn't really be the same without the gestures, if you think about it.
2. Sardines often swim around in schools and so the synchronisation was probably a cool way of showing this

Imo, this song could’ve been shortened to make Tonorrow Is longer. Not saying this song isn’t good, it is, but the point of the song could’ve been made in like half the time the song actually has, and Tomorrow Is being cut in length is really upsetting because they cut great parts of that song but kept almost this entire song
I mean, they've already shortened the song compared to the soundtrack version.

They could’ve easily cut a good portion of this song to make tomorrow is longer: tomorrow is deserves the longer runtime is all I’m saying

Why is half the song cut out
The live TV version had to be cut down in places to fit into a “reasonable” time frame for broadcast. They cut and rewrote some lines, possibly due to personal preference, honestly
